This game was made for Lucas. Game is a shambles right now. Adam and Henderson can't contain, relying on chase. Midfield is free for Wigan to run through. Sloppy all around.
 
To be honest, they have had some good chances too.

BTW the ref has been fucking brilliant in this game. I like the cut of his gib.

Skrtel best player on the park.
Maxi best attacking player.

Too much giving the ball away and shit.

Johnson, for all his attacking endevour, is having one of those days where he's slow to react and sloppy in possession, not to mention the usual 'defending like a mad-womans piss'.

Agger is having a good game, as is Maxi.

Strange 1st half ...looked so good during the first periods but with the same old, same old , we can't finish. It's beyond the point of just being unlucky , we're just not good finishers which is a pity because if we were we'd be flying .

But then defensively we were shocking, so casual ...it started with Skrtel giving away a terrible cheap corner and got sloppier from there . What we've been thinking i don't know. And again , as i mentioned during the Villa game ...we are letting them get into the space between our midfield and defensive line , allowing them run at us and then stretch us out of position . It's a worry and against a better team we would have been punished for it .

Kenny makes changes too late IMO.

Rafa's insistence on 60-65 mins was infuriating but so is waiting til 70 mins plus.
 
Adam needs to really improve the defensive side of his game. It's not good enough.

I'd love Suarez to score no. 20,000. It give all the journalists a headache tomorrow because they'd have to actually say something nice about him.

He has "one of those days" in most of our games mate.

Very frustrating first half, Adam and Downing need to get their finger out - both very, very poor in that half. Henderson, Maxi and Kuyt playing well.

Kinda worried now to be honest. We fucking better win this.

How about stealing a chance from the onrushing player (an easier position) and hitting it straight at the keeper.
