Strange game. We looked all over the place in the first half but ultimately thanks to some clinical finishing it turned into a rather routine win.

Still a lot of question marks and problems for Klopp to take away from the game but 3 good goals, 3pts and qualification from the group. Good nights work.

Thankfully Ajax are dreadful defensively.

Beating Napoli is one thing, but we need to hammer them by 4 clear goals to go 1st in the group. Why push the players to do that when it's not going to happen only to dump points against Spurs 3 days later.

5 days between Napoli game and Spurs. But yea, Klopp will have to choose his team very wisely next Tuesday night all things considered.

I just don't want to see the players exhaust themselves against Napoli for a lost cause just to turn up against Spurs like they did v Forest and hear a load of bullshit about 3 games in 7 days and nothing we could do.

Yeh I didn't realize we had 4 goals to catch up on.

Play badger tits and Jones and rest the midfield

True, but I don't think Klopp will want some patched up team to get absolutely pummelled by Napoli. He generally puts out competitive sides as much as he can (we all remember Jota get injured for nothing in a CL dead rubber).

Best case scenario is that Napoli put out a second string side too and it's an easy game.

Play the kids. We are scraping the barrel thanks to injuries and can’t afford any more or lack of energy going in to the Spurs game

I don't think we should be starting a Carabao cup team but realistically anybody coming back from injury that just needs mins like Kelleher, Konate, Nat, Jones, Ox, Keita, Carvalho etc couldn't ask for a better game then at home against a Napoli side that will be happy ro sit deep and play on the counter.
