Could get our arses handed to us here I can't lie......away from home, a free scoring youthful energetic side against us duds.

When you look at him now - his face is not one of tiredness, its one where he looks like he hates his fucking role and position. If what you say is actually where he was expected to play as he came up through the youth ranks - then I totally understand, and all this talk of Jude coming in to save us must not help his mental well being - I mean he probably thinks that the role was meant for him and him alone.
Ffs can you please stop with the bullshit amateur psychoanalysis.

Ajax struggle in tight games. We would be better to stay compact, with the wingers tucking in if the fullbacks overlap unless we are on the break

Not sure about the last bit. If we need to choose between his crossing and his shots on goal I think I'd prioritise the former.

That's a fair point – we would have to see whether the tradeoff is worth it. One thing about Trent is the extraordinary variety of his passing – he can play it short, medium or long, dink the ball over the top, play through-balls as well as high and low crosses and his vision is top-notch. My hope is that playing him in the middle would create more angles for him to use his passing game and that his variety of passing from that position will produce just as many assists as his contributions from the wing – but that remains to be seen.

If that doesn't work, then Beckham-like RM role seems like an easy solution – but not many managers nowadays play with that system. It would be better for Trent's career both in club and national team to establish himself as a CM if he can pull it off.

You don't need to be a pro psychoanalyst to see someone's body language and know that he actually probably hates his position. He hates it.
See that’s the point, you know shit about what is going on his mind.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Elliott, Salah, Firmino, Nunez.
Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Konate, Milner, Jones, Tsimikas, Ramsay, Carvalho, Bajcetic, Phillips.

1-3

Nunez’s blossoming will continue apace tonight. He will score, and while their defence is panicking, trying to stop him, Salah will bang one in. And another.

I can’t wait until after the game to read an expert analysis of Trent’s body language and mental state.

If the real Fabs turns up, we win and win big. They need to score so there will be gaps. Where there are gaps, there are goals.
