Lads, I am going to England for the first time in August and of course I want to use this opportunity to see Liverpool. Any advice or help on getting 2 tickets (my wife will come too) for Bournemouth on Aug 17th would be appreciated. And it goes without saying I would be quite happy to have a pint with anyone I know from here, before or after the game.

I also suspect I might need scouse-to-English translation services 🙂

Mate - I can't help you personally but a quick shout to @Woland who might be able to. There are lots of lads on here that do a ton of good sorting tickets so I'd say your chances are pretty good. Also of course you're sound and people like to help out the good 'uns (plus it's only bloody Bournemouth!) 🙂

A week earlier and I could have got you tickets in the general sale. By virtue of the fact that this game was the last to sell out I suspect that you will have no problem getting what you need from the lads here with more access to tickets.

@Woland, great!

So what will I need to do, lads? And which section would you recommend for someone like me: LFC fan, but first time at Anfield and with a girl. I don't want to spend a lot too.

I'll get you two tickets. It's a bit of a lottery in terms of where they'll be but I'll defo get them and we can have some beers and shit so just chill out. You're going to the fucking match.

This man might be weird on Twitter but, he's a legend with tickets!

Almost every local lad on here is a legend at this stuff.

Liam, Sean Pete and his entire family, Woland and Mark.

I'm sure I've missed off some others too who have helped people get to a game.

Legends the lot of them.

Happy for you. Enjoy. There is no better feeling than when you first glimpse that pitch as you come up the steps, wherever you end up in the ground. Modern football may be utter wank, but that stays the same.
Don't forget your jester hat!

He's not weird on twitter - He fucking ace. I'm a big fan. He's ace with tickets but terrifying with GIFs.

I once sat in Woland's kitchen drinking a beer nursing a HUGE gin hangover when he comes bouncing in sporting a massive grin. We all sat down for a fry and Woland is banging on about something he's posted on twitter so I quickly check what he's on about. I quickly met with an image of Elton John ramming his head up a politician (can't remember which one) arse or something along those lines. So there I was in his kitchen, naively minding my own business, drinking a beer, when he was upstairs the entire morning conjuring up twitter masterpieces. What a man.

Just added him. Think my life just took a turn for the stranger.

Huh? 🙂

This. One million times this. I am 10 years old again every time I set foot in that wonderful stadium, experiencing again through child-like eyes the sights, sounds and smells that give me that all too brief escape from the shite that real life is... There's NOTHING like walking into Anfield and just drinking it all in as you wait for a game... It's magic.

Enjoy Rukibird. It'll be wonderful, mate. Just don't take photos during the action! 😉
