Nope. Opta posted a stat about it. First time since 2009 against arsenal

Tbf I was surprised it was that recent

When did Arsenal have that really long unbeaten run? It was earlier than 09 wasn't it?

The scum were completely shite last night and got what they deserved. At least we manage to register a few shots on goal during our games.

Good for football to see that Ferguson's tactic of deploying the two Park's - Park Ji Sung & Park The Bus - last night didn't pay off.

I love how Fergie goes on about Mancini badgering the referees ... What was Rooney doing today besides that?

It's an old tactic of his, complaining about the same things from others that he does or condones himself. Remember this is the guy who had more than just a bit to say about Luis Suarez going down too easily, when he puts out teams with Nani and Ashley Young in them doing swandives all over the feckin place.

Look at how he handled the accusation levelled at Young though. Much smarter than how we deal with accusations

Great game. Yaya Toure was absolutely fantastic, and how good is Aguero at holding the ball up? Very special player.

Nasri very disappointing. As has his tenure at City been thus far. A central attacking role would suit him more, but to displace Tevez is unlikely.[/quote]

Really? I thought he terrorised Evra at times in the first half and showed skill and compusure throughout. He's not had a great season, but in the last few months he's looked like the Nasri of old.

I also must say that I thought Michael Carrick had a good game regardless of the result. He is a very good midfielder, and I think the past criticism of him is quite unjust.

Yep, United's best performer last night by a mile(not that hard i know).

Fucking hell, all this praise for Neville being a "great pundit" wrecks my head. I mean it's not really all that difficult to state the bleedin obvious all the time, is it? He's still, and always will be a complete and utter cunt.

His analysis is insightful and informative though.

In some cases he states the obvious but there's other times he picks out a piece of play in a game and it's usually something you'd have thought nothing of watching it live.

Well don't give a fuck whats said, that match was huge in deciding where the title goes. And I'll hold my hands up and say I watched it all and watched it as a city fan. Anything that stops them horrible twats is fine by me.

So come on city!

That was me too - jumped off my seat when they scored !

Zabaletta or Nasri MoM for me.

I've also been surprised by the absence of any particular bias against us (as far as I've noticed anyway). I was expecting him to have a field day with that when he became a pundit, but TBH he's nowhere near as biased as Keys and Gray used to be when they were on there.

I thought his comments on diving were poor to say the least. Mostly though he gives good analysis. Hateful hateful cunt though.

As strange a viewpoint as it is, I'm conviced Utd would have won yesterday if they played Rooney and Welbeck together. Ferguson threw it away by being cagey and negative. And starting Park.

Agree again SO. It would have made Zabaleta defend and sit back more. He didn't have to do either all night.

Great tactical decision by Mancini to play him and his better ability on the ball than Micah Richards though. Gutsy move.

I've lived in Manchester for 20 years and United have dominated the league for most of this time. At first it was tough as the Scum fans poured scorn on LFC's risible efforts to compete and I had to watch United winning trophy-after-trophy. The saving grace has been that even now their record does not quite match ours i.e. 18/5 > 19/3.

More recently it has become easier but for a ghastly reason........United fans rarely take the piss anymore because we're not really relevant; not competing in Europe and 8th in the league etc.

The game last night meant a lot because in previous seasons when United didn't win the league (i.e. coming 2nd to Leeds, Blackburn, Arsenal) you always knew they'd be back the following season stronger than ever.

Last nights game there was an overriding feeling that there was a seismic shift in power because if City win the league it is they who will come back even stronger next season and not United.

I am desperate for LFC to compete for the title but for the time being I'm going to settle for "as long as United don't win it".

I hope City can finish the job this season and for the next few seasons at least until we have a manager and squad capable of competing.

The demise of United has been predicted sooooo many times before but last night in the pub there seemed almost an air of resignation that their reign might be coming to an end as they discussed ALL the changes needed in their team (it was a predominantly United pub). I hope and think that my 20 years of watching the Scum fans celebrate regularly is coming to an abrupt (and hopefully long) hiatus.

C'MON CITY FINISH THE JOB!

I have to say, he's never given me that impression. Not once. There was a wankfest over his "diving" analysis, but all he actually did, was just state the obvious.
