That does seem meh.

Let’s see how we perform tonight before throwing in the towel.

I'm not so sure he won't try to keep it tight, he did against Spurs & the result may feel like vindication to him (the fact De Gea had an amazing game is actually what got them anything), that combined with the fact that teams have been more effective against us using that may mean he gives it a try.

We shall see.
Yeah but Manure were away from home. Not once has he has his team sit back at old toilet. He will come at us for sure. Main thing is putting the shackles on Pogba. He's starting to look the real deal under OGS. He was quality yesterday. I'd have fabinho or milner rough him up a bit.

They've played 13 games since we played them, and theirs record is 11-1-1. Have to say I'm not particularly confident about Sunday.

Part of that is due to the new manager effect and partly the very easy run of games they had when Solskjaer took over. Their most impressive result was against Spurs, but the PSG game showed they are still the same brittle side they were 2 months ago.

They've beaten Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal. It's more than a new manager bounce at this stage. Their record since he took over is very impressive.

They have a good squad, they just downed tools when Maureen was there.

They were really struggling against Spurs in 2nd half. They have defo had a strong run of results, but we should be the better team out there and be well prepared to exploit their weaknesses. It will be good to have a well rested VvD back there and probably some more fresh and fine legs to run the show.

I wouldn't call the way they played against Spurs impressive - they were battered - but DdG played a worldie and they did get the win.

They've also played the bottom 6 in the PL in their run. But their record is still impressive, as is the way they have turned their performances and style/tactics around.

It's going to be a very tough match but even a point will keep us ahead of City and that is the overriding imperative.

Defining game in so many ways. Win there and our confidence is sky high for the final push and we still have the upper hand. Lose and, well..

Starting to feel that way, a win there would pump up the confidence around the club and have us in the box seat for the run in. I want to see us coming flying out of the traps and tear into them from the start. Feels like a pivotal moment in the season, we threw away our breathing space against Leicester and West Ham, now every game feels like a must win until City drop something.

Fair that. This is one of the toughest games against a United team in good form, so yeah. I am being a shithouse about it.

If we had a fit Joe Gomez, i'd be confident of a win.

Our biggest weakness is that 2nd CB spot. Should Matip have a good game against Rashford, and Gini controls Pogba's runs, we will win.

I also don't think they are as offensive as people say they will be. United will sit back and counter attack at pace.

As this isn't a mourinho team we'll be facing, surely there will be an expectation they will 'have a go' and not sit back, and we usually perform best against these sort of teams.

United fans won't give a fook. When it comes to beating us, it's all about the win and not the performance. Ole will know that.

They will play a similar game to the one against Spurs. Sit back, be solid and counter with pace. Then rely on DDG to save everything.

Rashford raped TAA last season.

I’d play VVD that side of the CB pairing for this game

100%. Anyone who thinks they will attack is bonkers.

Against Spurs and PSG they played counter attacking football and will do the same again.
