I wouldn’t be against Bowen. We need home grown players and he’d add better depth to the squad than Shaq/Origi. His value will no doubt appreciate too so if he doesn’t make it in 2 years we sell on.

82 mill on White and Ramsdale. Thats just fucking horrendously insane

They also sold Martinez for a lesser amount just last year under Arteta's watch. He went on to be brilliant for Villa and won the Copa America while being awarded the best keeper of the tournament.

We spent last season being unable to rotate the front 3 after 1 injury. We need to change the personnel in there and if Bowen is available at a price we can afford after a sale or two then get it done.

We have Elliott and Jota. That's enough for me as long as we get another striker in. I mean a real striker.
Ox can play as a wing forward too and so can Firmino.

West Ham are asking for £35m for Bowen, pretty sure LFC might look to do player plus cash deal. Wonder what Moyes thinks Wilson?
Mallen is available for £28m, would have thought he would be a better back-up option

Mallen probably is a better option - it’s the bit about being backup that he’s not interested in.

Honestly have no idea if Malen would be a better option than Bowen, no telling how good he really is....Think he had 1 bright cameo apperance in the Euros otherwise looked pretty average.

Quite sceptical of the players that come from that league, Locadia Depay Luuk de Jong Janssen Bony Altidore all scored goals for fun over there.

1 year left on his contract:

Franck Kessie attracting attention from Liverpool

Premier League giants Liverpool are interested in Franck Kessie, with the Milan midfielder yet to agree a new contract with the Rossoneri.

Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sportgoes into depth to talk about Kessie’s situation, claiming that the midfielder is asking for a bonus on his new deal. He currently earns €2.2 million on his current deal, which expires next summer but he wants €6 million on his next contract.

Some sources close to the paper have suggested that Milan have offered only just over €4 million and this does not satisfy the midfielder. Caution is now emerging at Casa Milan as the situation is now delicate.

They don’t want to cause too much controversy and a meeting could take place next week. Kessie has admirers in the Premier League, with one interested club being Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The midfielder though, is interested in seeing what Milan offer next as he’s in no hurry to leave.

He's only 24!?

Wow ... I remember @Rosco talking about him a few years ago

Very good player that would suit us. Sadly its probably agent talk, but would love to sign him.

Kessie could replace Milner as our pen merch, his record from the spot is immaculate.

Don't think he's a player we need though.

I know its youtube but I don't think I've seen a more Gini-esk player anywhere else (other than Gini himself). Not that I am advocating buying him.
