Damsgaard on the other hand looks tidy. Shame Sampdoria will now want stupid money for him

It was really bothering me who Damsgaard looks like but i think it’s Tetsuo from Akira

"Liverpool will very shortly go on the offensive and offer 40 mill.euros for Saul Niguez, an offer Atletico Madrid could accept."

That's about as definite as pixie sh!t - having said which, I wouldn't mind us signing him.

a couple of seasons ago he looked amazing but i haven’t seen or heard much since

We're linked with Rice? That's news to me.

The only explanation is that Klopp's going 4-2-3-1 so he's stocking up on defensive midfielders.

Why the fuck, would we buy Declan Rice, when we already have Fabinho?

Well, Lampard was going all out to get him and he had Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic. Declan Rice might be THAT good (or alternatively Lampard is an idiot).

Saul would be a brilliant Milner replacement, which would be needed eventually. He's adaptable, hard working, talented and can cover multiple positions. He also comes from a side with a hard-work ethic drilled into them. But he's on something like a 9 year contract, or something ridiculous.

Also, he's 26, so whilst not he's not old, I suspect we'll be targeting younger midfielders given our aging midfield.

Smacks of Twitter bollocks.

I can see why we'd be after Saul Niguez but hard to imagine A.Madrid letting him go for a reasonable fee. Who knows though.

I'd stay well clear of any of the England players after this tournament. The English premium for the likes of Rice et al is crazy anyways... now it's going to be even worse.

TBH I'm not sold on Saul for the money. I like him as a player, but I'm wary of La Liga players who go missing at times in that league.

Kieta plus cash, Kieta in a less intense league would probably have less injuries. I can see someone like Simone going for Kieta

Clubs with financial troubles would be nice to raid.
Is it right that Lyon also was in a rut, along with Barca?
Aouar perhaps?
