Agree. I don't know enough about Sabitzer to have a view on him individually, but all top teams need squaddies and Citeh are the only ones who can afford to confine their search to the top tier only.
1 assist and 1 goal last season in the league and nothing in 5 CL games.
My feeling is we already have enough midfielders who are fillers but don’t seem good enough to provide the next level now like Ox, Millie, Naby and Jones.
If squad depth is more key then would have preferred Tieleman’s but looks like he is going to Arse anyway.

The problem with Ox and Naby have been injuries but both have provided clutch moments. Jones and Millie have done adequate job filling in.
We still need MF and CM and DM output cannot be measured using Goals and Assits. Their job is to hold the ball and protect the back 4.
Even if we get a loan deal for Adama who can play through the middle and on the Right we still need a CM or DM.
The was talk of us going for the Brazilian MF in Brazil couples weeks ago, I think the talk was a fee of less than £20m

Tottenham came within an inch of signing Adama Traore from Wolves in January – but missed out as he joined Barcelona on loan. Now, Adama could help Tottenham sign a £50million-rated Premier League star.
The Spain international has returned to Wolves this summer, after Barcelona decided not to sign the winger permanently. That is despite a permanent clause in his loan – but he failed to score in his 17 appearances.
TeamTalk report that Leeds are considering a move for Adama. It would see their director of football, Victor Orta, reunite with Traore having signed the winger from Barcelona for Middlesbrough during his time on Teesside.
