Yup. Fully deserved. It was never a penalty, but our performance was so poor anyways, we cant really have any complaints.

We were pretty flat today. No off the ball running or closing Spurs down not to mention giving away possession cheaply.

Dawson and King absolutely bossed us today.

Webb really kicked us when we were down but that aside we clearly missed any kind of creative spark moving forward. Would it be simplistic to say we really missed meirles?
 
We were shit after Europa games this year. Maybe it will be a blessing in disguise and help us get bck into the champ league? Can't help with signings though, no european football.

Carroll isn't match fit, our passes didn't quite work. We were actually solid at the back, can't help a deflection and Webb ... well what did you expect - awful decision making.
 
Well, that was poor. We started slowly against a good side with two in form centre halves and never got back into it. Webb, with his bizarre penalty award, didn't help.

Carroll was very worrying, he never looked likely to get on the end of anything. Dawson always got there before him and while I like Dawson, he's hardly Bobby Moore.

Their defence was very good, we didn't really have it going on today properly either, and yeah, Carroll didn't look great, but hopefully that's not a permanent thing, we'll have to see.

Webb is an idiot, but we lost anyway.

Yup, Big Andy is really starting to worry me a wee bit.

He's looking awfully heavy-footed.
 
I dont expect Carroll to show us he is worth every pound, but I dont think it would be too much to ask if he gave us the display of, say, a £20 mill striker at least.
He mostly looked like a slow, drunk horse.
 
What an annoying game. Kenny fucked up tactically today. Startin XI was wrong - a midfield of Lucas and Spearing alone was never going to cut it against a three man midfield. As per, Spurs outplayed us in midfield in the first half. Thought it would be better when Vdv got injured but the cunt Webb went and fucking ruined it.

Taking off Spearing was again a poor move. He should've taken off Maxi instead. Spearing had had an excellent game until then, and a midfield trio would have given us the opportunity to flood their half.

This should all be part of a learning curve for Kenny and co. He's done a fabulous job so far but make no mistake, next season is going to be really really testing for him.
 
Webb is a massive bellend and we all know that. It wasn't a penalty but it didn't cost us the game. We were poor.

Carroll had one shot at goal in the whole game. Match fit or not, his contribution simply wasn't good enough. Too many non performers today.

That down to earth thud is a massive wake up call. Much work to be done!
