I think its a bit early to say he's finished at top level. His perfomances have been pretty good this season and a 3 goals in 5 games return is also good.
Playing in this seasons Chelsea probably suits him better now than the last years tactics.
If he doesnt get injured during the season (lenghty), its not impossible for him to get 20 goals.
That said, I wouldnt want him back. Treated us like shite and that door should be closed forever.
I'm guessing most are living on the memories of his first couple of seasons for us and not the last. He had loads of poor performances then and looked half arsed in several.
Move on.
