Torres gone. Scum gone to more scum

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I'd rather have Llorente at that price. Carroll isn't worth 30 mill.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Carroll up front on his own in our 4-2-3-1 formation would be a beast. Apparently 30mill offer made..

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Oh god NO, please no no I really REALLY don't want Carroll

I'm honestly about to cry

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

11.15am: Our man in Liverpool, Andy Hunter, says the offer from Liverpool for Carroll was £25m but has been rebuffed. (Guardian)

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

£30m for Carrol?! Fucking hell.

he's hardly that good at kicking the buggah! he just runs about like a labrador on acid.

Newcastle would be mental to turn down that offer. He's never worth £20m let alone £30! ! !

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Llorente could be bought for something close to £30mil.
Stop fucking about with head-case Geordie cunts and buy someone good ffs.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

*sighs with relief*

Honestly though, if this days ends with Torres leaving and Carroll arriving, I will cry.

Torres leaving, Gomez/Llorente/Aguero, Young and Adam, I'll be as happy as Larry.

It was 26 mill

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

will be difficult to secure a signing today as there is no time for the selling team to find a replacement so why bother?

Yes Neil, but my problem with him, if you read my posts, is the same as Sunny's above.

No. Definitively, no.

Goals in the Championship, and a good start to this season = 30 million? Fuck. That.

They bid about 26m Neil.

Anyway, Bilbao would probably reject any approach (even if it meets the release clause) as they are lying fourth in La Liga with the chance to make Champions League places for the first time in ages.

Once the release clause is triggered he'll be free to buy himself out of his contract but will have to pay taxes on top (about 15m or so).

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I like carroll. He'd be a beast with suarez

how much is his release clause?

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I like Carroll. He's scored 11 goals in 19 games and he is 22 years old. Yes hes been a twat off the pitch, but he's a kid growing up in his home town (which is as goldfishbowly as towns can get) and making a success of himself. I would think a move away from Newcastle would be the making of him. And a proper manager like Dalglish.

Id LOVE to sign him more than any of the others we are linked with. Although if we are linked with Aguero i retract that.
