If there's any truth to these rumours about him wanting to stay it's because he knows we won't let him go and he's trying to save face.
How it was all a big misunderstanding. Cunt.
Yeah he's a cunt, but he's OUR cunt ( until summer at least)

Tores clearly feels that promises about this season were broken. Players bought , the squad and the management have all been poor so far this season (except Kenny).

Lets not forget that Kenny still isn't 100% the permanent manager. I'm sure this factors into everything.
Give a fuck! We're liverpool not fucking torrespool.
We make demands of him not the other way round. We pay the cunt 150k a week to shut the fuck up and score goals. He can kiss my white ass.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Who said he's bigger than the club?

No ones bigger than the club, from Managers to players?

Anyone who thinks that promises should be made to them by the club already thinks they are bigger than the club.

He could still have waited until the summer but instead wanted to leave us even more in the shit. Some fucking Red.
to be fair like I said earlier, you can hardly blame him.. Promises he has been made left right and centre, he probably thought here we go again more lies and bullshit.. I'm off...

Lets be fair Liverpool has been a Bullshit Bandwagon for the last two years....

SSN still going with "Chelsea expected to put £40m bid in, #LFC expected to reject it". Also got Suarez interview from Dutch TV (I presume).

Nothing on Radio City about Torres (not my kind of music then either). Nothing on SSN either (and it was Jim White presenting).

I'd say his agent is more of a cunt tbh... he would of orchestrated this.. The same with Rooney, the same with Tevez..

Let get realistic, we are fucking well lucky we have a player in Torres when you luck at the current status quo..

Time and time again we have all said one way or another that G & T are surrounded by shite and more shite..

Lets face it us as fans have been filled with broken promises over the last few years, as a player seeing that go on it has to be disheartening. Lets not forget he has also just been managed by the worse Liverpool Manager in our History.

The guy is arguably the best striker in the world, he has been patient enough to put up with the shit we have for so long, that shows some loyalty. A footballers career is a very short one so when it comes to the end of the transfer window and yet again still no sign of promises being fulfilled, quite rightly he looks for an escape route. Granted he could of done it much better than he did.. but we all make mistakes.... Stevie G is a prime example, and we still love the guy as much as we ever did..

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Torres' agent has been on Spanish radio, he hasn't been sacked and Torres will be a Chelsea player by the end of the window was all he had to say

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

So now Torres is going to spend the next 24 hours trying to find the best excuses that can work as damage limitations?

The Ballague comments were on Radio Merseyside by the way.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Arrrrhhhh, poor Fernando, a victim of other people's ineptitude. He was prepared to leave us, for Chelsea, with little time to get a replacement. He can go and fuck himself. With regards to Gerrard, I've never forgiven him for doing the same. A great player yes but not someone I have any particular respect for. But at least Gerrard has done enough since to make some sort of amends. Until such time that sly arse does the same he's a cunt.

If the agent said that he is a dick.

Like Kenny said during the Babel goings on, all 3 parties involved have to agree Player, club and target club, all 3 if one says no, its off

its the modern game.. run by agents.. run by agents.. I find it hard to stomach too, but I can see both sides of the argument.

My personal feelings is we should hold on to him till the summer during which we get him back to the torres of old and then sell him to the highest bidder.... then rebuild....

Torres' agent...

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Tired of this agent told him to do it, he is 26 years old not 12 that he needs someone to tell him what to do and what not to.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I read earlier, I think in this thread, of a rift between Gerrard/Carra and Torres and that possibly it has played a part in the current situation. I must have missed the rift conversation when it was [presumably] discussed on here at the time the story broke. And tonight I've just read [on a different LFC site] about Gerrard snubbing Torres after he (Gerrard) had scored the equaliser against Sunderland in September. Below is a link to the incident. Was this all debated back then and if so, what was the consensus opinion, if any?

(hope it's ok to post a link containing a video clip)

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Balague interview on the radio...

'He says that the players are the stars of the show on and off the field..he even suggested to Saint john that the players of 40 years ago would have took advantage in the same way they do today.. dummy out toys out iwant out and its my show and im off...

Snods (an evertonian for those who dont know) went mental, To suggest that St John would be so dis-loyal, a man who paid the rent of struggling past players, when he himself helped set up the players union.

Balague went on to say he knows Fernando wanted out in the summer, he spoke with him in South Africa and suggested that Liverpool were 5 years from winning trophies and that he should move on..and he WANTED the city move!

Balague said its dis-appointing as a fan that Liverpool are not showing any Ambition.

Snods then came back with, They have new owners, no debt, lots of money and a new world class signing to start going forward...He said Chelsea have Lampard 32, Drogba about to turn 33, Terry 30, Malouda 30, Ashley Cole closing in on his twighlight and the rest are average players on the wrong side of 27.

Balague suggested that Chelsea are showing ambition by trying to get Torres

Balague then sugggested that Torres will go into training tomorrow and may be thinking what have i done, Balague reckons that the transfer request was written before Friday and before the rapid Developments in the Suarez deal occurred, however Torres agent submitted the Request after all this when it should have been submitted before hand.

Balague is now in a position were he has no idea were the saga is going after he was the one to break the news early on friday.

He kept saying Fernando Loves the club he Loves the fans, but he is 26 and cant wait til he is 30-31 to start winning titles.

I say watch NESV and Liverpool fc go, with or without our star striker within 12 months'
