I've gone through all of those. And now I'm back to denial, I don't think it's going to happen this window anyway.

Well if it doesn't go through the cunt is in for a nice friendly few months from the supporters.

I hadn't considered that, I hope they do get desperate
Tell you who I think is desperate, and that's Abramovich. He derailed their season when he naffed Wilkins off, and he knows it. I think he's issued a "Get Torres whatever the cost" directive, and that's yet another reason why we absolutely should not be pressurised into accepting any less than £50 mill. Minimum.

Yeah, he's made his bed, and he's going to have to lie in it. I think it'd be better for the club to have a proper bidding war in the summer. Can't see Chelsea actually offering what we really want in the next 2 days. And I really don't want us to under sell him. Could be wrong though.

I'm defo in the 'positive spin'-camp. If the reports of £60m have any truth in them we'll be a much improved team if it's spent well.

Forlan, Hazard, M'Vila for starters 8)

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

For £60m i would drive him to chelski. To those aying wait till the summer to sell to city, what if he digs his hells in and says he only wants to go to chel$ki and they bid £30m? what then?

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Seems odd CFC fans think he is staying LFC fans think he is going. Noone has abgucking clue what's going on here. Nervous times!

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Phantomjoy - tell 'em to fuck right off and stick him in the ressies. He'll change his tune soon enough as he sees his career running into the sand.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

where the fuck do the mirroe get the £60m fee? it's merely stated in the title, but no where in the 'small' article itself.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Twitter rumours suggest staying but I doubt it. He will be gone by Monday.

I think 45m plus mikel & sturrige would be fair.
Yes, probably fair Jon but why should we be fair about things?
We should bend the fuckers over and give them a five finger stinger.

Yes, reading the same mummerings.
Either way, just sort it.

Yep, no reason we should be fair. We don't have to sell, and nobody has been fair with us in the past. Needs to be at least 50m in cash.

so what do you think of this bloody mess then richie boy?

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Why would we want Sturridge? Ngog is better. Id tell Chelsea to kick that cunt to river.

60M + plus Anelka for loan should be our asking price. Non Negotiable.

mess is a understatement. if he wants to go, let him go, but we need to get top dollar for him. shit timing on hispart though. not too sure what is happening at the mo, some on twitter now saying he wants to stay others saying he's still going. what do you think pete?

i agree re timing. i think you probably know that i've long been torn on him - love the guy to bits, but worried about his failing form, fitness, and, for a striker reliant on pace, advancing years as well.

i'd be pretty happy tbh if we got anything equating to £50m, so £45m + sturridge/anelka/kalou would be fine by me.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I came acorss fat duns's take via Google, and for onec I hope he is right :

http://www.koptalk.co.uk/201101293292/Duncan-Oldham/why-fernando-torres-handed-in-liverpool-transfer-request.html

I did laugh at this bit though :-

Spanish football pundit Guillem Balague was disgracefully attacked by Liverpool 'supporters' yesterday for claiming that Fernando Torres had asked Liverpol to negotiate with Chelsea. As someone who is often on the receiving end myself, it didn't surprise me at some of the vile comments and threats that were sent his way.

Poor old dunc

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Goal.com saying we've asked for Anelka to be included into the deal.

Liverpool have asked for Frenchman Anelka, not Sturridge, to be included in the deal to meet their £50m valuation.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

yeah agree. it's just come out of the blue though. he seemed to be regaining his smile whilst playing since kenny took charge. oh well, guess all will be sorted in the next couple of days either way. min £50m is what i'd want with anelka. don't want sturridge or kalou.

anyway, we can look forward (hopefully) to suarez banging in some goals.

Fuck off, he's shit.
As an AM he's not great, but as a DM, his natural position, he's shitloads better than Poulsen & Lucas & performed really well in the only prolonged time he's had there in 08/09.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

it's not that i *want* sturridge or kalou - i don't - but i still think they're worth £5m and we could just sell them in the summer if necessary. sturridge, for example, is imo a better player than ngog, so you could sell ngog for a few million and sturridge takes his place.

i'd prefer a straight £50m, but if a part-ex is needed to make the deal happen then i've got no problem with that.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Wait til the summer and sell him to Barca. Then he can keep Mascher company on the bench.

It's his usual bollocks about half the internet being against him & Liverpool & only he knows what's happening, oh & those in the 'members' site, how know more than he could possibly write here....

All complete bollocks.
