He may just want to move abroad and would then probably go with some sort of 'blessing' from us for what he's done for us and given that we can't match his ambition at this point in time. In which case, he could leave with his head held high, particularly if he helped us win the Europa Cup?

the thing about a football player is his lack of intelligence and as a result being completely incapable of fooling your average fan. it is not within torres' character to move to chelsea, anymore than it is in the character of a cunt like jovanovic to take a pay cunt and leave for the good of the club.

I've had enough of all these badge kissing lifelong Liverpool supporting players. Time we went down the Sociedad route and only play Scousers or adopted OOTers who pledge allegiance by placing one hand on the Merseymart whilst singing Heart As Big As The City.
