What has markmc said about this? Sunny?

Are we really thinking that Torres is going to leave a few days before the Jan transfer window closes to fucking Chelsea of all clubs?

It's just mad. I've half accepted he might leave in the summer, but never dreamed it'd happen now and it's properly gutting.

Right, I'm off to bed and hopefully get a couple of hours sleep before waking up to even more bad news.

I'll say this though, Torres will be one stupid bastard for going to Chelsea. Ageing squad that will need changing soon, every key player is in their 30s and with the financial rules coming into play that won't be easy to do.

2 good youngsters coming through, the rest is shite and they're having a shite season.

All I know what's pretty much been said on here mate. A verbal transfer request has gone in and he wants out. How accurate that is I don't know.

Or why have Chelsea left it until now to make a bid? Why didn't they do it weeks ago? Has Torres let it be know he'd welcome an offer through back channels or whatever? Why did he come out with those reassurances a few weeks ago?
