Is Carroll at 30-35 mill a good deal. Probably 5-10 mill overpriced but at least he is only 22 and will give us another option. I think he could form a great partnership with suarez.

But we're overpaying for his replacement because we're placing the selling club in the same situation as Chelsea are placing us in - it's the last day of the transfer window mid-season.
We'd still get 50M in the summer for Torres in the summer, so effectively Chelsea are getting their man exactly when they want him, fucking us in the process and they're not having to pay a premium for it.
