I'm fuming.
I always bang on about how predictable he is, if two or more of his three conditions are fulfilled, back him to score. Team outside the worlds top 60, at home, in a meaningless game - 2 of which applied tonight and I didn't back him.
About 80% of his goals fall into that category.

Yup that goal was unfortunate. But he has been poor today for Spain. He could have done more for the first and second goal.

Norway beat Portugal 1-0 last night in a very good match. We defended like crazy and created quite a bit on counter attacks. 6 points after 2 games means that we have a very good chance of qualifiing now.
Meireles impressed greatly. Always running, always available and a great passer. Very combative and didn't shy out of any tackles and won a lot of 50/50 challenges. Some of his passes was very Alonsoesque tbh.
But his movement was the most impressive. Starting an attack and then being in the our 5 yard box to finish the attack. I'd like to know how many miles he ran last night cause it was amazing tbh.
He will really add something to our midfield, and I have very high hopes for him.

Portugal seem incapable of producing a half decent striker.
They still manage to beat us whenever we play them.

Without Ronaldo they can look extremely toothless really and they'll probably struggle to qualify once again. Although I still think they'll at least reach 2nd place as I can't see Norway progressing to be honest.
