Solskjaer had a real nasty streak. I remember an appalling tackle on Sami once which put the big fella out for a few matches. No honour among Scandos, eh? 😉
Yep, then they scored whilst Sami was off the pitch I believe.

The suarez link is being talked about at Melwood apparently, now he's a player I would definatley Have.
Interesting to hear this Redshrek. I hope they're talking about it because there's something to it, rather than just idly speculating on newspaper reports.

Not when it comes to Solskjaer, no.

Oh yes I can see why they were pissed off and I admit saying it is their own fault not to go through is harsh. Demonizing Suarez was what I couldn't understand.

Nah I have sympathy as to why he did it. Whether I would have done it if I was in the same position, I don't know. Like it or not, though, Suarez was vindicated in the fact that Uruguay won the match. He's a hero in Uruguay for doing it.

Indeed, and just to add insult to injury the bastard was a Liverpool fan before he joined them.
Prick did a Suarez against us once, too.

Handled off the line.

Forgot which game.
I felt equally disgusted when Solskjaer ran over half a pitch only to hack down the Newcastle player clean-through on goal.
Of course I too feel disgusted when a manc does something like that.

However if N'Gog or someone ran half the pitch and hacked down a clean through Rooney he'd get a medal from me.

If his hand-balling meant we won a match I think I'd be ok with that.

I didn't really get what was the issue with his hand ball anyway.

If you were from Ghana you'd have a different look on the matter.

Pretty much the same as if you were Irish and had to watch Henry handball them out of the WC.

It's unsporting behaviour really and not in the right spirit of the game.
Or if you were a Gooner and had to watch Henchoz hadle the ball of the line in an FA Cup final.

Henchoz was hailed a hero for handballing off the line in the FA Cup final by most, if we're going to take the moral ground here..

He was a master of handballing alright.

He often looked rather confused too however and nowhere near as deliberate as say Suarez.

But anyways you've got a point.

I am not taking the moral high ground at all.
Just pointing out that some people could be leaving themselves open to accusations of hypocrisy for being there.

Henchoz was no more confused than you or I, Kristian. That was just his version of "What - me, referee?". It's the same look you'd see on the face of a Swiss bank official if you were to ask him about Robert Mugabe's account at his bank.

Hah, wasn't aimed at you, didn't even notice I'd been beaten to the Henchoz punch (pun maybe intended).

Indeed.
The good old confused, innocent, who me, handle the ball, never, look.

And for the record I don't think at the time I would have been part of the rabid mob screaming for Henry's head either

edit: just as JJ says.

Hahaha... I guess his innocent-looking purple cheeks deceived me...

The ball always hit his arm when in the area though - especially when we played United. Remember my United-loving mates hated his guts for these apparent non deliberate and constant handlings of the ball.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is set to raid Aston Villa for England winger Ashley Young in a deal worth £15m.

The Reds are also pursuing a cut-price £3m deal for Rennes and France right-back Rod Fanni, which could lead to a Tottenham bid for Glen Johnson.

Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all keen on Johnson, who looks set to quit Anfield in January.

And Liverpool midfielder Lucas has urged Hodgson to press ahead with an audacious January move for AC Milan forward Ronaldinho.

Lazio are lining up a new contract for defender Stefan Radu to fend off interest from Chelsea.

West Ham have joined the £5m race for Tottenham striker Robbie Keane. The Republic of Ireland international has been told he can leave in January.

Aston Villa also plan to firm up their interest in Keane with a £6m bid.

Stoke have been told they must pay Real Zaragoza £6m if they want to turn winger Jermaine Pennant's loan deal into a permanent move at the end of December.

Wolves are weighing up a January move for Newcastle's unsettled central defender Steven Taylor.

Sunderland's Paraguayan defender Paulo Da Silva is wanted by Real Zaragoza and Mexican side Cruz Azul, with a loan move likely.

Wigan look set to wrap up £5m deal for highly rated Espanyol midfielder Javi Marquez.

Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson admits he tried to sign David Beckham on loan but the Los Angeles Galaxy and England midfielder turned him down. Eriksson has also been rejected by Tottenham striker Keane and Manchester City forward Roque Santa Cruz.

Newcastle fans are furious with the club's reported decision to appoint Alan Pardew as their new manager.

Fewer than 2% of those polled by the Newcastle Evening Chronicle on Wednesday wanted Pardew to succeed Chris Hughton as manager at St James' Park.

Sheffield United manager Gary Speed has emerged as a shock front-runner for the Wales job.

Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier's job is under serious threat following their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on Monday.

Houllier left Villa director Charles Krulak baffled by his conduct following the Anfield loss. Ex-Liverpool boss Houllier angered his club's fans by saying if he had to lose 3-0 to anyone, he would prefer it to be to his old team. The manager also ignored Villa's travelling supporters but applauded the Kop, and Krulak said: "What I don't know is what was going through his mind at the time - and neither does anyone else.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is to make a personal plea to the club's supporters to put an end to the sick chants that are aimed at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger whenever the Gunners visit Old Trafford.

Ipswich boss Roy Keane believes £10m-rated 17-year-old forward Connor Wickham has the potential to be the new Wayne Rooney.

Scottish police chiefs are set to dash the SPL's hopes of a full fixture list this weekend as snow and ice continue to wreak havoc across the country.

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is increasingly hopeful of overcoming a hamstring injury to face Arsenal on Monday, using his Twitter page to say: "Hammy feels ok, treatment over the next couple of days to try + get ready for the game Monday. Get me out there! Grrrr!"
Florent Malouda has claimed Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba is his only friend in football because he hates hangers-on in the game.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest, says he endured sleepless nights ahead of his competitive comeback from a horrific leg break that sidelined him for nine months.

Aberdeen have cancelled their annual Christmas party as they fight the threat of relegation.

Prince William has written to Blackpool in praise of striker Luke Varney after watching the on-loan Derby player score a superb goal against Wolves last month. The future king was a surprise visitor to Bloomfield Road for the Premier League fixture and said Varney's volleyed winner would 'live long in the memory'.

And Liverpool midfielder Lucas has urged Hodgson to press ahead with an audacious January move for AC Milan forward Ronaldinho.

Another reason to hate Lucas. Great.

And if Budgie replaces Magic with Fanny, he can go and fuck himself (there's a pun or two in there, I'm almost certain)

I'm excited, at least we've been linked to some exciting players, I'd be over the moon with Suarez and/or Young.

Or Ronaldinho (although there is no logic to this)

I'd be thrilled to see Ashley Young at Liverpool. Exactly the type of player that we need.

Young Hazard would make us dangerous indeed.

It would also be cool if we were linked to the Ajax player called Anita, not that he's been particularly good in the CL games I've seen, but we would have a player called ANITA.

Haha whenever I've seen him play I've thought, you'd love him.

He's actually an industrious little lefty. Perhaps a bit too light-weight but he's got pace and skill.

Haha, to elaborate I didn't mean Anita is the same as Cunt and Fanni just that they are all quite feminine words/things/names. 🙂
