I tells ya, we're gonna storm up this fucking league table between now & May. All the top teams are faltering & we've got Stevie coming into a side playing superb football.

We can get this fucking title. We can.

Umm... no we can't.
Get out......

We've had a pretty good weekend for results show some optimisim, it's what being a fan is all about. No realistic chatter in here please.

Sorry Jon. We're not even going to win tomorrow.
Think possitive not negative..

a win tomorrow would rekindle my hopes for the season but winning the title is not even a consideration.

I can't believe I am allowing myself to say it. A win tomorrow night and we're just 8 points behind the top 2, with 18 games to play.

Considering the amount of silly points we dropped, we should all be feeling very good about the future!

We are fecking going places. I can feel it people - the results are so much better, the team, is still an above average squad, but we will keep improving...that we can be sure. Some silly results we should have won just because of our striker problems. That kind of problem I will take after last year. two nice attacking purchases in the window, and we'll have the firepower for the spring..

2 draws and a win against wigan, blackburn and newcastle?

hardly inspirational.

But we will have Gerrard, and in any case the position regarding Suarez depends on what we decide to do about an appeal and any possible follow-up through the courts.

I think localny's right. By any standards we are in much better shape to progress than we have been for ages. Something fundamental changed for the better when Kenny came back.

i'm very happy with kenny. don't trust our ability to go on a winning run unless gerrard can play a huge part though.

and we wont have suarez.

mate you are right, those results are disappointing, but the reason is easily identified, and can be fixed. It's not the massive life saving operation it was. We're three points off forth, 8 points off 1st (a six pointer tomorrow night)

And we've got big games in Feb, yeah, but we have been doing better in them. We just need to fix the goal problem.

Kenny has us all moving together, he's made some very good buys, (and yes some naff ones), he has up up there again, (look at AVB to see how hard it is, to get a managerial appointment right).

But yeah we do need something more (Gerrard or someone like that) to kick on. Current squad is doing well, but we do need that magical spark more often that he brings.

Tons of reasons to be cheerful.

there are lots or reasons to be cheerful if we have money to spend on top players. it will just be more of the same if we dont.

PS Suarez ban will get knocked down to 4 or 5 games.
I'll have a bit of that

I assume we do have money to spend, since we are so close to a CL spot. FSG's net spend is what, 23M so far?

Surely, they didn't buy this gem, to then, let it gather dust in the corner?

Really like Dembele. Fantastic player and one of those whose impressed me the most this season.

If he could finish he'd a fucking star.
