Watching Arsenal West ham as it's the only game that may matters to us.

It's shite that we're not playing until Monday. Matches should switch back to Saturday's if you decide you don't want to play in the Europa League anymore.

Arsenal 1 - 0 West Ham, Giroud just before half time. Can't say the Gunners didn't deserve it; Hammers were playing like ball less shitbags and begging to let in a few goals.

When was the last time Arsenal actually challenged for the league? I seriously cannot remember the most recent one.

I think there was one year when they got quite close to the end still with a great chance. They were near the top and had by far the easiest run in, but of course they blew it pretty spectacularly. 2010 maybe?

Haha. Arsenal fans with an actually funny chant.

Referee subs himself cos he's injured.

"You're not fit to referee" rings out as he leaves the pitch.

West Ham just don't seem to have a clue what to do with the ball despite their increased possession of it around the Gunners' box in this half. They don't have Carroll to slug it long and high to, so folks are passing and pissing around waiting for something to happen. A couple of times (maybe more) now they've given the ball away very cheaply when they've just been cycling the ball around right in the final third.

Yeah. Not just happy to surrender, they had to ship three to help the Goons' goal difference edge too. They're definitely going into my "hope to see you shits relegated" list next season (though we know it won't happen).

PENALTY APPEAL
Burnley 1-0 Man City

'We don't surround the referee' - those were the words of Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini in the week. But they do here. There are five or six players around Andre Marriner after Pablo Zabaleta goes down under Ben Mee's challenge. No penalty given!

Why always Mee..?😗

Sunderland's fans were pathetic - loads of them were leaving even when they were just two down. This myth of north-east fans being so great is rubbish. Them and the barcodes are horribly fickle fans.

On the flip side, they ain't won anything in years, but 45,000 come out week after week mate. They're not like us singing, 3-0 down at halftime, but they are dedicated, and pretty great.

So City lose away to Burnley and hand the title to Chelsea, twice over. After last season's close run, this season's title fight has been a big bore.

On the other hand, the race for places from 2nd to 4th and the fight for survival gets more exciting with this result. I'm still rooting for Burnley, and I hope they'll pip Sunderland, Villa and Everton to get to safety. Some tough games coming up for them - these have repercussions on the CL places if they manage to get points.

They travel to Southampton next, and then return home to host Spurs and Arsenal. Hopefully they'll continue to show the same fight they did in their other home games against the current top 7 - a pretty solid series of results with defeats to Chelsea (1-3) and us (0-1), a draw against the Mancs (0-0), and victories over Southampton (1-0) and City (1-0).

I think there's a good chance that Sunderland will sink at last this time round. I'd rather Villa goes down before them, but the Mackems just don't seem to have the same fight / quality as they did last season with Borini (fight) and Ki (quality).

I don't know what's wrong with Sunderland. I recon Poyet is a decent manager, but this season from the beginning he looked a bit deflated and his team lacked any fighting spirit in a big contrast to last season. I think he'll be sacked soon, but they will get relegated anyway.

No they're not. Someone could easily compile a You Tube montage consisting of endless shots of Newcastle and Sunderland fans leaving during a match or booing their own team. There are loads of clubs that haven't won stuff for ages that show greater support than that. Best fans in the world my arse.
