Sure it was a possiibility as it was an away tie.

But one side was filled with world class players just waitin to spank a team, the other a bunch of part time pig farmers, who hadn't played in two months.

I expect a similar result at the bridge.

Misled by my own optimism I actually thought that could somehow benefit them. How wrong I was. They looked more rusty than I ever would've imagined.

I can clearly understand how I must look now backing them in the first place, and I'm sure it would be of little consolation that they were ten times better back in Autumn.

Anyways they'll be performing better at the Bridge - having played a few competitive games back home and all - but the tie is well over.
