Ok, so we're not playing.

Regardless, we have the Spurs Chelsea game that may well have a big impact on our title hopes.

I'm personally hoping for a Spurs win, lets be positive, instead of worrying about those behind us we should be looking onwards & upwards.
 
Anybody remotely worried about Spurs can't have seen them recently, I hope they fluke a win as they'll easily fuck it up a game or two later. They've got to come to us too.

I'm worried about them as they seem to pick up results no matter how bad they are this season. 6 points behind us yet they've been "gash" for 28 games now.

They also have the best away record in the league and can get a result at Anfield. No way I want them to win any games.
We need a bigger gap on 5th.

Whilst people are saying "if you are worried about them then you can't have seen them lately", they are still fucking picking up points despite being shite. They still have to come to Anfield and as unlikely as everyone thinks this is, they could actually win at our place. Who is to say we won't get a player sent off after 5 mins for something stupid and ruin the game?

I also remember them about 3 or 4 years ago, going away to Man City needing a win to close the gap on City for 4th. Think they were 4 or 5 pts behind City with 4 games left. I'm pretty sure they won 1-0 (Crouch scored) and they qualified for the CL that season in the end.

Let's get 4th secure first, which was the seasons objective at the start. Then worry about the title.

Agree with all of that.

Think Chelsea will win easily though.

I remember the game but fairly sure they were already favourites for 4th and that result confirmed it.

I hate them though so can't help dreading that they'll somehow come back into it.

I can't really remember exactly but I just know I watched it on Sky, it was a midweek game and they won 1-0. I thought they had to win, but could be wrong.

Anyway, my points are valid. They are still a danger despite being shite.

So a draw is the result we should be wanting.

I sort of agree. I'm certainly not completely relaxed about Spurs yet, but I think that has a lot to do with really hating Sherwood and Adebayor. It'd just be fucking horrible if they somehow managed to claw it back.

I know it's only 5 mins in but Utd look so ragged. It's pretty funny to watch actually.

Ha yeah, Cisse did that once when playing for Marseille against us in a European game before signing for us. Got a yellow for his trouble.
