I think we'll win the league on goal difference.

I think either down to a lack of ambition from ownership, lack of quality in depth or lack of trust in fringe players has cost us titles. Titles seem to have a lot of sliding doors moments. Whether it's a 90th minute Macheda goal, kompany 30 yard thunderbolt, Gerrard slip, or a coutinho substitution; these moments tend to not go in our favour. Perhaps in cups we've had our rub of the green but in leagues we haven't. Confidence breeds these moments. An anxious Anfield helped cause the Gerrard slip (and subsequent Stevie Me performance). Ferguson having the nerve to throw on a Macheda when desperate for a goal. Kompany deciding to thunderbastard it when leicester were proving stubborn. When you say 'thrown away', do you really mean that..? You really think that we bottled all the leagues we didn't win?
I get all that... I just think that you saying 'thrown way' suggests that we should have won all those other titles, when the reality is, in my mind at least, we only really lost two of them due to our own failings (Rafa, Rodgers), rather than we were simply beaten by better teams.
And, I would have thought that the fact that you've seen many of these players get us over the line in the recent past would allow you to breathe a little more than you do. Obviously not, says you... I'm tense, but nothing like it was with any of those other races, becase at least we've seen Jurgen's title.
I think that's very harsh - we'd have won 3 titles for Jurgen, but for those cheating cunts - but I get your point...Whatever else you can say about Klopp's teams, we lost most of the close battles and finals that mattered. The only time we won the title we were about 25 points ahead and could take the last 2 months off. There isn't really much evidence they were good under pressure.
I'd say it's probably exactly that period that's making some of us twitchy now.
I've seen these players get us over the line in games that are the game before the important one. Usually, these players struggle to make a difference against difficult opposition in the crucial games. 2 lost CL finals, a few times top of the league and fell away. League we won? We just ran and didn't stop and didn't look around. Cl we won? Fucking spurs. Domestic cups? Really should have twatted Chelsea off the park consistently, but it went to pens more often than not.I get all that... Couldn't give a shit what others do, just what we do, I want to win both.Would people take losing to Arsenal in the CL if we beat them in the league to win it?
Jesus, that's harsh, mate... Seems like you're putting a 'but...' next to everything we won. I'd debate you, but I'm obviously not changing your mind. Just don't understand how anybody sees losing by one point, twice, to that cheating monster as anything other than used being fucked over, and as for the two CL finals, well, it was Madrid and there were circumstances.I've seen these players get us over the line in games that are the game before the important one. I'm not sold on some of these players ability when it comes to the "winning" moment. They'll absolutely get you to the moment and be sensational on the way. The important moment? The chips are down in an actual final? I'm not as sold on them as others.
Of course, those players are older now, or had their heads turned by other clubs. So should I expect more?

I know I'm locked in this headspace, and that's on me. I'm not about changing others opinions, just (for me) it's how I feel. I wouldn't argue with anyone feeling different as I understand that view as well. It's just not mineJesus, that's harsh, mate... Seems like you're putting a 'but...' next to everything we won. Anyways, I'll leave it here. Not gonna fall out with anybody I respect on this site about their opinions. Have a good weekend, mate.
If we're gonna have any success this season we're gonna need a fully fit and firing Jota.
Scum away, aye? After Sunday, we have 7 of 11 matches remaining at Anfield.
I don't understand how anybody actually thinks that their run is is 'piss weak'... Forest away. Neverton away. Us away. The scum away (who only step up in these kinda matches now). Newcastle. Bournemouth. A few local derbies. With a load of injuries and no strikers...
On what planet is that a 'piss easy' run in? Why do you all expect them to go on a run when they've shown nothing to suggest they can do it to this point?
United away, aye?Can see us getting a point against city. And we should beat Newcastle at home.
Certainly wouldn’t say we are firm favourites, but it’s hardly over either. The rest in March will be massive for us.
chelsea and forest are by no means easy. At all. Even Utd away.
This narrowing of the gap was always going to happen due to the way the fixtures lined up. I doubt they win all those five.
We couldn't beat united at home yet I'm expecting arsenal to annihilate united away.
West Ham United (Home) - shite, easy win
For the Hammers of course...Jeez......for who?
They aren't in it. Be real. Both teams are doing their utmost to invite City into the league race.
