The not so Official January Transfer Rumour Thread

With the buy on clause we should outbid everyone for Ince and make shit loads of cash in the process!!! That would show them who is smart in the Transfer Market!!! Mmmwwwooooaaahh!!!

Saw some Twitter rumour that we've rejected a 35 mill bid for Suarez from City.
Doubt we'll sell regardless.

It's a pretty sweeping condemnation of our midfield when we are desperate for an AM, and desperate for a DM. I'm all for more strength in depth, but these are positions we've devoted a lot of money toward. In addition, the fact that there is such interest in a DM speaks volumes about just how confident everyone is in Lucas, who looked for some to be cementing his role in the side.

Sadly this is what happens when inexperienced owners agree to a massive splurge, the splurge fails, so they appoint an inexperienced manager who buys ten players for 9 million. The sooner Ayre is allowed to concentrate on the commercial side and they hire someone to run the football admin side the better.

Wanyama to Utd would make me cry . 8-9 mill is a steal

And from that Manchester Evening News story, some quotes from Kenyan FA president Sam Nyamweya:

“Wanyama will soon be joining one of the big two clubs in the world.

“It is an exciting moment for us, which means that Kenya is a powerhouse in football.”

Suso could be loaned to Blackpool if a deal can be reached for Tom Ince. #LFC

Would be a good move for him

If he makes the most of it, then yes it will be a great move for him. Sitting on our bench isn't going to develop him

You know what, I say fuck Blackpool. Why should we loan them Suso when they're going fuck us over again.

Because it will give Suso some much needed experience and lower the fee of Ince.

Also, how are they fucking us over? Should they just kneel down to the mighty Premiership club and sell them one of their best players for whatever price Liverpool wants to pay?

We can loan Suso to a Premier League club if possible, I'm sure there will be a few who would want him. I am just bitter over the way they fucked us over Adam and now possibly Ince.

I don't think he'd start many games at a Prem club. I know many seem to disagree but he''s too slight to play in a relegation threatened team (they traditionally rely on steady players over flair players) and he has struggled so far when playing for Liverpool so it's unlikely he would be able to start for a mid-table team. Wigan is the only team I can think of that might consider adding a player like him, but you have to ask yourself, what would Wigan gain from developing one of our players? They have money, so they would be better developing one of their own players.

Regular first team football at a lower league club, or even regular first team football in the reserves (I know this is unlikely given reserve team football in the UK) is a lot better than him sitting on the bench for us or another prem team. You just have to look at Ince to see how it has helped him.

Some time in the championship will toughen suso up & get him that regular game time that he desperately needs.

Did Shelvey no harm at all.

A really crap source linking us with a loan bid for 'Barcelona’s young attacking prodigy Isaac Cuenca'. Their source is the Daily Star. I'll say nothing more.
