Sunday Times reporting that Man Utd have a bid rejected for Moussa Dembele and that Fulham will sell if money is right. Also claim Villas-Boas is pursuing Robert Lewandowski as Tottenham's new striker.

Milan’s alleged interest in Andy Carroll is reportedly building as rumours suggest they are eyeing a possible loan deal for the England man.
Carroll caught the eye of Milan President Silvio Berlusconi’s son Piersilvio, after his performances for England at Euro 2012.
Whilst the Rossoneri are working to a tight budget that has seen Adriano Galliani declare more than once that they are closed for business this summer, the Corriere dello Sport understands movement for Carroll has been made.
This follows on from speculation that new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has given the Anfield outfit permission to try to move him on as he is not in his initial plans for the new season.
Sportmediaset are also reporting along the same lines, suggesting that the Diavolo will try to tempt Liverpool with a year-long loan offer for the 23-year-old.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do loans with our players to Italian clubs. Fuck 'em. If they really want him, offer a fee and let Rodgers decide how to take it forward. Otherwise, stay well the fuck away.

Claim that Rodgers is willing to let Carroll go because of the style of football he wants us to lay and that he sees Suarez as the reference point for attack. Milan sees Carroll as a replacement/backup for Ibrahimovic.

It's nice to know that this is his opinion. But in reality he should wait until the end of august before selling Carroll. By then he will have fully appreciated the reality of us getting played off the park by aston villa, and in turn his job depending upon having a big striker who will keep the ball as far away from our goal for as long as possible.

pato for carrol? good all deal round, pato's deal ends soon and he has got a bit stale.

@TransferUpdate: Edinson Cavani's agent claims Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing the striker valued at £35m.

Not true obvs. But its everyones wet dream

Milan can get lost with their 'loans' talk, if they want him the can buy him, a swap deal involving Pato would be awesome.

I'd be happy with Moses or Sturridge too. I just want us to sign someone!

I'm advised by my Serie A-following relatives in Malta, who know their stuff as a rule, that the Carroll rumour has received next to no publicity in Italy and that they think it's almost certainly a load of bull.

We have received a very concrete offer from Chelsea for Andre Schurrle worth over €20 million. But we eventually opted to hold on to Andre," Bayer Leverkusen CEO Wolfgang Holzhauser is quoted as telling German newspaper Express.

"Andre has too much importance for us on the pitch. He has also made it very clear that he is happy to stay with us."

yes , yes the "liverpool way" dictates that we should do our deals behind closed doors but fuck i'd love to know we were interested or going after decent players like Schurrle . I get the feeling we blew our major rebuilding money last summer on a load of average dross .....again .

The German stock has been high for the last 4 years.
Have we bought any Germans?
No.

he's been mentioned a few times on the site:

Lokomotiv Moscow have agreed terms with Trabzonspor over the signing of Burak Yilmaz.

Modo - the best time to buy stock is just before it takes off ... Where's the next Germany ...

They're 'hot' right now (it's great that we have an in with Nacional) and Belgium (good shout Gary). I'd be looking at every Spanish club below Barca/Madrid level and trying to get their 'hot talent over to the Academy (alla Suso)

Isn't it more difficult to get younger Spanish players these days?

So this Ramirez lad looks the first signing? £14M according to reports in his homeland.

I don't think I have ever seen him play.
