Or what woman?shut up, oncy.
Or what woman?
Javi Martínez will finish playing 'eeny, meeny, miny, moe' at the end of Euro 2012. The player from Navarra will not make a final decision on his possible departure from Athletic Bilbao - in the face of the enormous interest from Bayern Munich - until he returns. It is the only club to have made a firm offer for the player, beyond mere rumours.
This interest has not only a name, but also a number: the €40 million in his release clause, which the Bavarian club is prepared to pay Athletic. The Ibaigane-based club is not willing to negotiate this figure for the loss of such an important member of its squad, which would also represent an income for the club’s coffers equivalent to 65% of last year's budget.
As if this were not enough, Bayern has tempted Javi with an astronomical offer which would result in €7 million net for each of the four or five seasons he would sign for. This would place him amongst Bayern’s best paid players, below Ribéry, who earns €8 million a year, and well above Robben, who earns €5 million a season.
Tempted by the idea of earning more than double at Bayern – though he is one of Athletic’s best paid players with a net annual salary of over €2 million – and recovering his place in midfield, after playing in central defence with Marcelo Bielsa last season, Javi is seriously considering the idea of leaving the club which he has played for over the past six seasons.
Barcelona believes that it has done everything necessary in order to sign Jordi Alba and does not intend to go above the €12 million which it originally offered Valencia. The club’s directors believe that everything is in their favour for the player to don a Barcelona shirt once Euro 2012 ends and will apply the strategy which has worked so well for them in previous seasons: for the player himself to put pressure on his club to let him go.
Barcelona is unimpressed by the tantrums of Manuel Llorente, who has insisted throughout the negotiations that he will not let Alba leave at any price. The Valencia president stormed out of a restaurant last week while waiting for Zubizarreta and Bartomeu because he saw journalists at the door and flew into a rage a few days ago because Barcelona took two key youth players off him.
Llorente is looking to fight to the end to get the €15 million price tag which he has set for the international, but to his disadvantage the full back only has a year left on his contract and, if he does not let him go, he will leave on a free transfer next year. Furthermore, he knows that the agreement between Barça and player is solid and it would not hurt to receive the transfer fee in order to spruce up the books before the accounting period ends on 30th June.
Jordi Alba, meanwhile, has been focused on the European Championship with Spain for two weeks, attempting not to be disturbed by anyone. The full back, one of Del Bosque’s indisputable starters, is confident that he will play at Camp Nou for the next five years. And he will certainly not just stand by if he sees that the negotiations are in jeopardy.
Juventus are reportedly lining up a €28million bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez - and are prepared to offer Milos Krasic as part of the deal.
Suarez, whose future at Liverpool has been a hot topic of conversation ever since his high profile clash with Manchester United defender Patrice Evra last year, last month hinted that he is ready to leave the Premier League following the departure of Kenny Dalglish as Reds boss.
And according to Tuttosport, after Liverpool were linked with a move for Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Juve are set to renew their interest in the Uruguay international, who has been on their radar for some time.
According to Sunday's report, the Italian champions are ready to offer new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers €18m in addition to Krasic, who would be valued at €10m.
Reports earlier this month had suggested that Liverpool were already in talks with Juventus over a deal for Krasic, who has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs over the past twelve months.
Along with the Merseysiders, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Tottenham have also been linked with Krasic in recent weeks, while Lazio and most recently West Ham have shown interest.
The 27-year-old is set to leave Juve this summer after barely featuring under Antonio Conte last season.
Last month, Krasic's agent, Dejan Joksimovic, insisted his client would leave Serie A this summer, stating: "It is certain that he will leave Juventus.
"He wants to leave, he has not been playing regularly and because of this his spell in Turin is over. His time in Italy has come to an end, and he is ready to go to another country.
"Tottenham or Liverpool? There is not a specific side who want to sign him. But believe me, he has a lot of clubs interested in him."
I reckon we should loan out Suarez to Juve and then if he plays 25 games for them we have to buy Krasic.Ok, 28m+krasic and we'll talk
Maybe.
Although I doubt it
