You admit to trolling about Martin Skrtel.

You should never expect anyone to treat you with any respect when it comes to this issue, because you'll never get any, and you've only got yourself to blame.

Solely because it was related to city. If people valued him that highly if other teams were involved id question them.

Both agger AND skrtel are worth 20+m to us solely because we're in such a delicate transitional stage, losing ANYONE could have severe knock on effects

I don't understand the need to polarize their worth, why is KHL so keen to see Skrtel's valuation by people plummet as low as it can, while tossing in a comment about Agger being worth £20m and a nailed on attraction for the likes of Barca and Madrid?

Oh wait...

At the end of the day if players like Lescott can go for similar fees on the back of similar form, then that's the going rate for a defender in form and of a relative peak age. so both Agger and Skrtel should be commanding a similar fee in current circumstances.

Not, "Skrtel is worth £8m but Agger is much more elegant (and Danish), ergo Agger should go for £20m. Deary me, I've just realised that makes Agger £12m better than Skrtel, I wonder what that means?" Job done. *Beams*

I agree that it will be difficult but no reason not to hope CL or not we're still LFC people still want to play for us. Maybe i'm optimistic but I can see us pulling it off IF its true we've actually made a bid.
 
With all the new pages, I thought there must be soem good news in here. Instead all I see is a long argument over a few million mythical quid

I'll hold up my hand, I called you a madman (mustering all the restraint in me), but I'm not looking to endear myself to you and I don't then whine about it when you take your shots at me.

The best part is, the most vociferous of your opponents like Mark, Themn and even myself are really huge fans of Agger. We (without being too presumptuous in speaking for them, no offence intended to Mark and Themn) just don't see that massive gulf between Agger and Skrtel you keep harping on about.
