Liverpool ready Tello move

By Ben McAleer
Monday 11 June 2012
Liverpool are ready to offer €10m in order to secure the services of Barcelona front-man Christian Tello, suggest reports in Sport.

The Reds are hoping to convince the Blaugrana youngster, who forced his way into Pep Guardiola’s first team netting seven times in 22 appearances.

New manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to bolster his attacking line for the new season and has earmarked the 20-year-old as a possible incomer.

And the Merseyside outfit will be alerted to the news that the Catalan side are prepared to listen to offers for Tello.

Thiago Silva for €40m? WOW

Reports are gathering pace that Thiago Silva is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain after their interest in the Milan man was confirmed.

Stories in France this morning claimed that the Brazilian could sign for the capital club as soon as this week for over €40m.

“We are trying to negotiate for Thiago Silva, but it won’t be easy to sign him,” PSG director general Leonardo, who coached the player at Milanello, stated on Monday.

Meanwhile, the stopper’s agent has also added more fuel to the fire after he confirmed PSG’s desire for the Brazilian.

“For now he is still a Rossoneri player, but anything can happen,” Paulo Toninetto told RMC. “I know that PSG are interested in the player. Let’s see what occurs.”

The Italian club recently claimed that they were 99.9 per cent certain that Thiago Silva – and Zlatan Ibrahimovic – would remain.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani was questioned by reporters outside of a restaurant in Milan today, but he refused to comment on the latest rumours.

Former Brazil boss Dunga, in an interview with TMW, revealed that he would not be surprised to see a transfer happen.

“Thiago Silva is the strongest defender in circulation,” Dunga noted. “He has great potential and everything needed to become even better.

“PSG are after him and he could be a great reinforcement. Leonardo will do all that he can to take him to France.

“I know that he wants him at all costs and, even if Milan will try to keep him, I think the move will take place.”

Barcelona and Manchester City are also interested in the player who cost Milan €10m from Fluminense in 2009.

French daily Le Parisien claims that Thiago Silva touched down in Paris this morning to start talks.

You could stick around and get along with us, Tello.
It doesn't really mean that we're into you, Tello.
It's all alright but we're here, darling, to enjoy the football.
We don't get too excited 'cause thats all we get from you, hey.

Tello is very quick and looks a bit Ronaldo esque with the stepovers at times. I've seen him ghost past defenders like they weren't even there.

His decision making is suspect though. Like all young players I suppose.

He's pretty raw and I wouldn't want to pay a huge amount for him. He is an exciting player though.

...and he's world class for making songs.

If Steve Harkness was still playing we could sing "Tello, Harkness, my old friends we've come to cheer you on again "

With boss song options

So clearly the song used should be 'Ayo Technology' by 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake...

Telloooo, no need for goal line technology

For all it is worth, anyone who is good with a great potential will never come to LFC. We are the bottom of the pile it seems. So better not hope and be let down. Expect the worst and if wrong it will be a pleasant surprise like Suarez.

didn't this lad start the semi final v chelsea ? ....so they must rate him . I'd be surprised if they sold him on .
