Funny isnt it. Id love Sturridge and Johnson as I think they would both improve us instantly but others are dead against.
I reckon whichever player you name SOME posters will be down on.
'Ronaldo!?! He never passes and doesnt track back, plus he goes missing in the big games'

Nope. Look at the number of chances Suarez creates for his team mates and you'll realize how wrong you are. Plus he actually does get past players more often than not.
If he is then why won't Chelsea keep him?I'm really surprised that most seem to be a bit "meh" about Sturridge.
He's a real 24 carat prospect.
Overpaid, Shite, Useless, Hate, Selfish......some of the words used to describe Sturridge and Johnson there.I think that is a little unfair.
If asked whether Sturridge and Johnson would improve our team I think 100% of Liverpool supporters would answer 'Yes'. Is that the right question though? A lot of Liverpool supporters thought that Downing would improve our team last year. Maybe to some extent he did / still can but the we all now know that the right question was "Is Downing the best we can do for 20M?". The answer was and remains 'No'.
The same thing applies here. I like Sturridge. I think Johnson has talent. Both would immediately improve our first team. Is it the best use of 30M though? I'm not sure that it is.
Inter “made enquiries after Sebastian Giovinco and will see what happens over the next few days,” confirmed director of sport Piero Ausilio.
There were reports over the weekend that the Nerazzurri were trying to intercept the negotiations between Parma and Juventus, the two clubs who co-own the Atomic Ant.
If they do not agree on how to continue the co-ownership deal or sell the remaining 50 per cent of his contract, Giovinco could go to a blind auction.
“We have made enquiries after Giovinco by contacting Parma,” noted Inter director of sport Ausilio on Sky Sport Italia.
“We are tracking the player and will see what happens over the next few days.”
Milan are thought to be closing in on a low-cost swoop for Napoli and former Liverpool winger Andrea Dossena.
According to the Corriere dello Sport this morning, the Italian international will be released in the summer if Napoli sign Aly Cissokho instead.
The Rossoneri are ready to take advantage of the opportunity to snap up the 30-year-old for practically nothing.
Dossena would also be willing to reduce his wages, spreading the €5m over three years rather than two.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that contract renegotiation talks with Mathieu Flamini have hit problems, so the former Arsenal man could leave on a free transfer.

You could ask a similar question about a guy in Milian. If he is then why won't Chelsea keep him?
True, but it's a bit more complicated especially considering the financial situation at "Milian".You could ask a similar question about a guy in Milian.
The agent of Ajax defensive midfielder Vurnon Anita has revealed that Newcastle United have made an offer for the 23-year-old.
Anita has seen himself become a key player in Frank De Boer’s side this season, making 33 appearances en route to the Eredivisie title in 2011-12, with his ability to play at full-back also proving useful.
Harry Lulofs, the player’s representative, has now fuelled a move to England, claiming the Magpies are keen to land the Netherlands international, while he also added that Norwich City expressed an interest before coach Paul Lambert left for Aston Villa.
Speaking to The People, Lulofs said: “Ajax are very satisfied with the guy [Anita] and want to keep him, but Newcastle have been watching him for a long time and really want to sign him.
"This is the first offer Ajax have received for Vurnon and we'll soon see how they react.
"The only other Premier League club to get in touch was Norwich. Paul Lambert called me to ask about him.
"Now he has moved to Aston Villa so maybe they will be in touch. I don't know."
odd of any enligsh player over 12m succeeding are slim.Sturridge has got talent, but 15mill? We've signed enough overpriced English players. There are better alternatives out there.
And if he doesnt like playing out wide, where will we play him?
