The Moyes Effect

I think I have only ever watched one of those Hitler clips all the way through. I have no idea what the first one to use it was but they should stop.

Have a feeling that Moyes will be sacked by January and Fergie will return as interim manager.

I can understand the suggestion being made but I'd be extremely surprised if it were to happen. They won't need reminding of how they went down the tubes last time they had a manager this dominant (namely Matt Busby) to replace. Having had to make this change now, they will want to avoid past mistakes at all costs. Besides, I'll bet they always knew this is how things would initially go when Ginsoak left. That IMO is why they didn't appoint a big name.

I do think they'll act quite quickly if it is hitting the shits. Utd have a massive turnover, but they are also servicing massive debts. I can see the yanks getting nervous quickly if it goes all Hodgson over there.

Moyes is fucking brilliant! We should give him the keys to the city. He's going to singlehandedly ruin them, and hopefully not lose his job! Ginsoak has come out today saying they can fuck off if they think hes coming back haha

I know it's great - I love how everyone keeps saying 'Oh it's Utd - They have class enough to give Moyes time' he he he he - Please do by all means!

I've been saying that for weeks and think there is a big chance it will happen.

Ferguson knew exactly what he was doing leaving when he did. It was a poor Premier League which allowed his average and aging UTD side to waltz to the Title by 11 points. The perfect time to call it a day with his legacy intact, leaving the process of rebuilding to the poor bastard who replaces him.

He's not coming back.

I dunno I think he's deluded enough to think he can turn anything around and if they are say 6-10 points off CL by xmas I think he would come back to guide them to 4th and leave the mess to a new man in the summer again

And then what? Who would succeed him then? No one would want the gig. I'm pretty convinced no one could succeed Fergie. They have a post Moyes man in mind possibly.

Although Ferguson obviously had little time for him beyond the surface pleasantries, Mourinho would have had the personality and instant respect of the players/ fans in order to make the transition.

A few months ago I thought whiskey nose would return.

Now I don't think he will, especially as Moyes has dismantled his backroom staff. Ginsoak always had a top quality coach working with him when he won titles, now he would return to find the squad he left behind, but older, and the village idiots running the place. There's too much at stake for his reputation if he went back.

This is key regards to ginsooak returning, and why he wont.

I watched the first half of it last night, it was worth a watch, but very general. Fell asleep! Second half tonight. Can across as affable, agreeable and completely in a new environment. There's no way this guy is going back. 72? He wants live a life. He's in NYC at the minute, I think he has a apartment here. I know a bar, where they close it down for him, on a Saturday morning, and he goes in and watches the races, in quiet. The guy who runs it is a Man U fan. Brings in some friends etc. He's been teeing this life up for a while.

It's only a matter of time before Mia Farrow claims he's the father of her son. He should get out of New York sharpish.
