All 4 teams have plenty of options in most positions but you have to think that the team who best fills those positions will be in best shape for the new season.
Im only talking about in general obviously.

Well there are now also question marks over our DM & CM (and of course Arbeloa will 99.9% be on his way). Why a question mark over our LB ? It is almost certainly Aurelio / Insua or Dossena if he stays - no ?

I thought Drogba had now re-committed himself to Chelsea & they have received an offer from Bayern for Bosingwa which they will accept if they manage to snatch Johnson from under our noses ?
Im just talking about as we stand here and now. Obviously if players leave things would change.

United have Brown, O'Shea and the young Brazilian for right back so they are well covered. Is Hargreaves going to play again ? If not they'll have to spend big to cover the middle.

If we can keep everyone and add 2 or 3 great players were as strong as any of the other teams regardless of how much they spend.
He's awful mate. And prone to injury. If i was Arsene i'd be looking to replace him for sure.

I thought he improved over the last season and was pretty decent for them. He's no world beater and yeah they can do better, but he ain't that bad.

not much of a stretch that is it!!

United seem to have the most number of replacements to find.

Van Der Saar is no spring chicken - he started last season very poorly, as is the case with most keepers nearing 40.
Giggs,
Scholes,
Neville,
Ronaldo,
Tevez.

They may just stick with the kid they have got as the replacement for Neville, but other positions will surely have to be looked at.

Will any of their young stars really step up next season, now that some big names have departed and the pressure is off?

Nani, Anderson, the brothers, Macheida (who won them the premiership last season in my opinion.... 4 points)

He improved alot last season. He had a good season i thought. Dunno were your getting the "prone to injury" from!

He's a big game player aswell, ohh..

Arsenal are 4th for a reason, 4th best defence, 4th best midfield, 4th best Strikeforce and of course 4th best goalkeeper.

If they're happy to continue that trend, then there's no need to replace him..

At this rate, we have Arbeloa, Xabi, Javier, to be replaced (if Glen does not come).

Not sure about that. They had terrible luck with injuries last season and weren't a million miles off. If everyone stays fit, with a couple of quality additions they'll be there or thereabouts.

I wouldn't bother looking for a keeper if I was them. Almunia's OK, spend the money elsewhere i.e. defensive midfield and at the back.

With Adebayor, Bad Pervert, Eduardo, Vela, Arshavin, Rosicky, Fabregas, Nasri, Walcott & others, their attacking options look OK to me.

I think it's scraping the barrel to suggest United 'need' a right-back.

Brown, Neville, O'Shea - 3 Current Internationals that play there, and Rafael - who looks impressive to me.

Brown is perma injured for the last 18 months.
Garry neville is fucking hopeless and has been found out time and again this year including the embarrassment of being moved in to centre back in one game to protect him.
John o'Shea is fucking guff.
I'll give you the lil lad, but i doubt he is ready. Ask any United fan they will tell you they need a right back.

Though they could use strengthening in the position, if they can replace Ronaldo's offensive punch with the likes of Ribery I don't think they'll struggle with their current right back contingent.
2 things.
1.you live in manchester, there are no man utd fans there.
2.shut up.

I'll be surprised if they sign one this summer

John O'Shea's a good defender and they've got more pressing needs.
