If you don't count teenagers, Is it right saying Thiago has been our only midfield signing over the last 5 years? (After Fab & Naby joined)

Once those allegations surfaced we were never going near him, not even after he received the all clear.

Dictionary definition of striker : the player who is to strike the ball in a game; a player considered in terms of ability to strike the ball: a gifted striker of the ball. • a forward or attacker.

Haha!

I was willing to let you off by being silly and calling you a malodourous Fuckwit etc but you insist on provoking me, punk

Dude, everyone but you knew that in the context I used the word I was using striker to refer to a centre forward specifically rather than an attacker in general.

That's obvious because

1. That's the normal, default definition
2. That was City's specific problem after the loss of Aguero (Yes, I forgot about Jesus, but I already acknowledged that)

So you're basically desperately trying to squeeze through this tiny loophole that (according to the dictionary!!!) a striker needn't necessarily refer to a CF and therefore I must necessarily have been referring to attackers in general, when I wasn't, and you think this means you "won" when in fact it just makes you look like a fucking thick pedantic wanker.

For clarification, then:

1. I meant striker to mean centre forward
2. You're a pathetically thick cunt

Reactions: Raz
(in football (soccer)) a player whose main job is to attack and try to score goals

Of course, this is highly subjective, as momo pointed out, Gerrard is the definition of a striker

N.B. You can always tell when Peter has lost a debate - he starts with the name calling. Haha !

FOR THE LAST TIME - I was referring to Man City's good industrial relations!!!

striker - noun

  1. an employee on strike.
"the manager was anxious to have talks with the strikers and discuss their demands"

Frogfish you're going on ignore now, not because you're a horrible stupid twat, but because you're too pussy to admit when you're wrong. Life's too short.
