The Italian stallion

A cousin of mine who's a Juve season ticket holder reckons their motives for letting Chiesa (whom he continues to rate highly) leave the club are pretty mixed and have as much to do with their need to raise cash as with anything else. In his view the fact that Motta's said what he said about the player shouldn't necessarily be taken at face value and could well be at least partly down to internal pressures.

That makes more sense to me.

Juve blew a lot of cash when they brought Ronaldo in - even though that was 6-7 years ago, the financial costs of that are still being felt today at Juve.

You should read this, they suffered from covid which really hampered their growth, however, the commercial deals they were negotiating with Ronaldo on board so much greater than before until COVID.

He's out until after the next internationals.

The Italian curse shows no sign of abating

He read the post from Athens and then he had to go home to that.

He is an honorable sort, so he's playing along still. Smiles through it. He will even half heartedly throw the dog a bone occasionally, but inside he's broken.

To go into work, too, to train, with everyone knowing you've got that sort of gorgon abed... The body begins to break as well.

flashbacks of my dads carryouts
I remember drinking it a few times as a teenager. We only bought it because it was the cheapest beer the offie had. If I remember correctly it was only about 3.5% alcohol. And tasted like piss.
