Another England thread trolled by Irish posters. What a surprise.

"When was the last time you beat us?"

Embarrassing.
Normally why i dont bother posting in them. I saw your thread and thought 'Nice' but then i saw a milli posts and thought it was going to be the same old shit.
I like it though, you are right these players are popping up everywhere. Is Connor Wickham english too? I reckon the FIFA or Uefa rules a couple of years ago meant the top teams had to start looking for English talent?

Incidentally the FIFA rankings are out again and inexplicably (even more so than usual) the Dutch have moved ahead of World and European champions Spain becuase Spain lost to Italy and The Dutch didnt play!!!

1 Netherlands

2 Spain

3 Germany

4 England

5 Uruguay

6 Brazil

31 Republic of Ireland

55 Scotland

59 Northern Ireland

117 Wales

Those FIFA rankings are about as meaningful as Pele's greatest 100 players ever lists.
I dont think thats true mate. Its a fundamentally flawed system and we all know it, but the fact is THAT IS used for seedings. Its crazy that a stick a pin in it system has so much influence over the game.

Embarrassing? Hardly Keni, Ross often uses the above question during the international banter sessions on here. The Irish take plenty of stick during international games too. Spion and Livvy especially like getting their digs in. All in jest and we should be allowed poke fun at the England team too. I don't think any of the Irish posters are under any illusions of our own teams capabilities. Ross even hates our top scorer sure. 😉

If an Irish poster started a thread about the future of the Irish team it would also fall foul to trolling from English fans. All in the game yo.
