28 more games to go.

Less than half the points of the leader, Chelsea.

We are told to judge him after ten games.

Yay or Nay?

Now here is that poll thingy?

he had a tough start and some pretty distracting off field activity at the club which some people feel mitigated against judging him too harshly because hes a nice polite manager that you wish well but we have been awful to watch and none of our dreadful results have been undeserved, it will be 8th place at best under Hodgson, he should go before January to give who ever takes over a chance to reorganise, and i dont think that should be Kenny

I cant decide if his worst moment was losing at home to Blackpool or expressing how delighted he was by the most gutless debry performance we have witnessed in years, I imagine he will compile a long and distinguished list of moments like that by the end of the season if he lasts that long

I think it's pretty alarming that all rumours of him being sacked have suddenly evaporated.

I would be surprised if after two scrappy wins against two shit teams people suddenly start thinking Hodgson is doing well.

I doubt he'll ever be any good but should we at least consider that he should have a chance in the January transfer window? Assuming we are not in the relegation zone by then?

One thing though, I'm not sure about this 'nice, polite' thing now. He seems to be slagging people off all over the place.

It shouldn't be the case. But I really hope he goes before January regardless of how we're doing.

Kinda puts a whole different light on the idea that he was brought in to be a 'yes' man, considering he's fought everything and everyone so far. He needs to shut up and just get on with the job.

Exactly. He hasn't done anything significant of note to earn that space/right to open his gob.

And don't he dare start rambling on about that Europa League Cup final which may I remind everyone, HE FLIPPING LOST !!!

Shouldn't have been hired. Should definitely be fired. He should shut up and get on with a job (someone else's). Enough already.

Our next 5 league fixtures:

Chelsea H
Wigan A
Stoke A
West Ham H
Spurs A

What'll we get from that, 7/8 points?

What a gay season this is.

He was brought in when circumstances were much different; I don't see why we would now stick with him.

The thngs he was supposed to do haven't been done.

If we win our next 3 matches the anti-Roy clamour will cease and we'll be talking about a renewed title challenge - we're so fickle.

3 away games. One against a powerful Spurs team.
2 home games. One against the league leaders.

Chelsea H - a big fat zero
Wigan A - slim win
Stoke A - hopeful draw
West Ham H - win
Spurs A - lose

Total = 7 hopeful points

West Ham at home is the only one we'll win. Its not like Woy is going to manage 2 away wins that closely together is it?

When exactly did Hodgson say it was a 'famous victory'?

Did he really say something so pathetic?

Yes he did. In his after match interview. I think he was saying in the context that it was only our second away win in 2010. But it was a silly comment anyway

We should have fucking sacked him the minute the yanks took over. I feel they may have missed their window now.

They need to do it soon if they want to avoid having to give him an increased payoff and money to spend in January. The next week or two will be telling.

You were sure Hicks was going to refinance too. 😉

Unfortunately you might be right about this. Anyone in NESV's position would hesitate over making such a big change so early, and I imagine they'll have had advice from Broughton and Purslow to give Roy time. Fingers crossed.

I know some hate stats, but here goes.

King Kenny has won more medals than Roy Hodgson has won away games in the Premier League. Thats madness.

Henry and Co apperantly had a 28 day window after they took over were they could sack him and pay him 1 years salary.

Henry and Roy are having a meeting today, and several more during the week. If he leaves it will be in the next two weeks..

I wish there was some way to enforce it.
