Ehhhh, he has played most of the games this season as centre back. So you've been reading some strange match reports... He's also been pretty good.

Anyway, he's not eligeble for tonihgts game, thats why 16 year old Jack Robinson has been training with the first team this week.

Mavinga can play in both positions. Heh, a bit like Traore is you will. Threlfall was back for a while - I think he's gone on loan again. And they recently drafted in two fullbacks from the Academy who by all accounts really impressed when they were given a chance.

Aurelio injured, Insua shite and suspended and Babel banned, Benitez is in no position to leave out a player on Liverpool's payroll who specialises in playing on the side of the field where we have no one available just because he's a shithead.
