So it seems that we're the only one talking about our players becoming legend when other teams like Manure, City and Chelsea concentrating in winning games week in week out.

I have a problem with this attitude of us talking and talking and talking about Suarez, Carroll etc about becoming a legend for us when Aguero just joined City, played 4 games and scored 6 goals, Dzeko scored 6 goals in 3 games and Rooney scored 8 goals in 4 games. Fucking hell i didn't hear them talking about those players.

Gerrard on Suarez :
Suarez can join greats
Suarez is scary

Jan Molby on Suarez :
We have a great, great player at this club and his job now is to go on and become one of the all-time greats at Anfield, and he's got all the tools to do that.

So i hope we should stop idolizing players too much and fucking concentrate in winning games more than anything.

Glock why do you want people associated with our club bigging up rival players?

Managers, players, ex players etc will always speak positively about their own players. Isn't that human nature? Mancini said today that Silva (who is in fact amazing) is one of the best players in the world and is up there with Xavi and Iniesta. People all over the world we're falling over themselves praising Rooney over his early performances this season.

Stevie also said Suarez was dynamite after the Fulham game. Tut tut Stevie.

I didn't say we need to talk about rival players or vice versa. I said we need to stop talking about legends here, legends there when what we need to do now is winning games and win trophies.

Talking about players will not win us trophy, in fact i feel that talking about Suarez when he didn't score enough goals etc defeat the point that what we as a club looking to achieve that is to win trophies. Individual don't win you trophies, the team does.

Please look at the bigger picture.

And as for Mancini, he has won a FA Cup last season with Silva in his team. So he's allowed to talk.

This coming from a poster who idolises and bigs himself up all the time, and claims the interworldwide web will crash and that humanity will go extinct, if he doesn't exist.

Ridicule.

Yes, that poster is an idiot and makes me miss Kanwar. Yeah, I said it.

Glock, you're talking SHITE:

Wayne Rooney:He is just incredible. What he's done for Manchester United and what he's done for the young players, it's absolutely fantastic to have him at the club.
"He's a genius and I don't think it'll be too long before we're calling him Sir Ryan in my opinion.

Wayne Rooney: Scholes is the best footballer who I have ever played with, his vision, his passing, everything about him. He's world class.

Ryan Giggs: If Wayne plays here, keeps fit and going for the next 10 years, then he will break every record. He will break my appearance record and he will break Bobby Charlton's goalscoring record of 249 goals. I hope that is something he can do.

Solksjaer: Javier will not be scared of Barcelona,” he said. “He could be the difference in the game. His movement is fantastic, as is his awareness, and his hunger for goals is extraordinary.

Gary Neville:He's [Hernandez] a good person. He works very hard, incredibly hard.
"He's got all the attributes. He'll score lots and lots of goals for Man United.
“He is a great professional and he smiles every time he scores because he feels like he deserves it.

That was two google searches I did. I'm sure there's thousands of others.

Clearly Utd should just shut up idolising their own players & concentrate on winning their own games.

Yup and how many fucking trophies have they won in 10 years? TELL ME.

Fucking hell. As i've said earlier, they are fucking allowed to talk big because they've won big. What have we won? Fucking shut up and concentrate on winning games and then fucking talk.

Fucking legend this, fucking legend that, fucking hell.

See the trouble is Glock, in between the inane ramblings and the try hard attitude, you actually do have a point.

But unfortunately, these good points you make are buried beneath your ridiculous internet persona. I'm sure when you bounce your grandkids on your knee later on in life and they ask you what you did when you were younger, you can proudly say "I was Glock on the internet!!".

They'll be soooo proud of you.

See, I've lost the point you were making too.

Using your own logic Glock - seeing as you've been proven consistently wrong about almost everything you spout - you should " fucking shut up". Get something right first and then "fucking talk".

Hav eyou perhaps thought that maybe, just maybe, the reason their less established players, like Hernandez in those quotes, are being built up & given the confidence & belief is so they can then go ahead & use to fulfill their promise?

Wild idea I know, perhaps we should just let the players do pieces on all the poor parts of their game & see if it inspires them that way.

So you have a problem with yourself and you're telling the whole wide world about it. Your problem is you're looking into who the thread starter is, if you start reading what i posted in this thread and start to understand it and comment on it it wouldn't be this way.

So now, stop commenting about me and start talking about football. And then tell us about your grandkids later. Thanks.

I understand what you trying to say mate but that is not purely the reason why they are successful e.g Hernandez. I believe it is because of the freedom the manager give them, their hardwork, their training regime, their team mates and their own experience.

Talk, talk and talk in papers, tabloids etc have nothing to do with their performance on the pitch. They play and play to win. That's what we should do.

Whether we talk or not doesn't make any difference to whether we win or not. If our whole squad stopped talking to the press our results wouldn't get any better.

We can talk, talk, talk all we want for all I care.

Ok, so it's not the only reason, but you admit it's part of the reason. I think Kenny has added on all the other elements, so the obvious thing to do is to also have established players give the team & less established players confidence & self belief.

I have no problem reading players talking about results, pre and post match comments, manager, fans, club history etc but fucking not about Suarez will be a legend, Gerrard will score 100 goals this season, Carroll is already a legend etc etc...

When you win games and be part of the winning team, that gives you the fucking confidence and self belief and whatever shit but not when your team mates or ex players or ex manager telling the whole wide world you're a fucking legend etc when in fact you don't prove it on the pitch.

Yes, we should instruct your players to be totally honest about all our players to the press.

"Johnson? Yeah, he's great going forward, but hopefully the opposition don't work out that he's suspect defensively"

"Suarez? All you have to do is say something about his mother and he'll get himself sent off. Simples"

"Agger. All you have to do is drag him out of defence, which is quite easy to do, and our defence is a mess, and bound to give away a cheap goal"

Stuff like that?

You have a problem with players bigging up Luis Suarez - a player who's rated amongst the best strikers in the world currently? Are you fucking mad?

And no one knows what you're trying to say becase you're insane, OK? OK.

Players become legends by winning silverware. If we win silverware consistently, those winners in the team will right be called "Legends!"

Actually the problem is yours Glock. Perhaps if you kept the aggressive fake Oriental / Asian routine for one profile and created another for your sane ramblings, then us mere mortals wouldn't have to be bothered with picking the bones out of your incessant Glock shite. All you'd have to do is remember to login as the correct person.
