we are can't finish for shit

better

Rosco will be happy now that the post count will be wayyyyy up seeing that we didn't win

Based on gerrards fitness this season I doubt he would have made a difference

Yep, we're won't be fucked at all when Stevie G is gone, eh..?

Least we didn't need Carra...

1. henderson are kuyt are a waste of space on the right, pretty much every single one of our good attacks came down the left.

2. against new promoted sides lucas is a waste of fucking space and add fuck all going fowards, no question about it we would hae been more potent with henderson through the middle and another attacker on the right and we would have lost very little defensively.

3. pepe prevented a loss today with two brilliant saves

4. downing must be wondering what type of ball he has to give an attacker for them to score, the chance for carroll was a tap in.

5. I'm fucked off with none of our attackers gambling on carroll's ability to win the ball in the air. NONE of them make the run beyond him and it's fucking me of now.

6. we've kept two clean sheets in a row, the only positive in this debacle of a game.

7. suarez brilliant though he is over elaberates, downing had made a terrific run down his left and he tried the audicious rather than feeding downing so downing could square it.

8. enrique was been great for us but his shot in the final moments (with at least 3 players queing up in the box) was fucking IDIOTIC!!

9. we are way too wasteful to challenge for 4th place, there is no consistancy. we difficult to beat but have no killer instinct at all.

We played with 8 outfield players most of the time as Lucas, Henderson and Bellamy did nothing at all

because we've never drawn against newly promoted sides with gerrard in the side...

Would we have been more likely to put that shower away today with him in the team? Is this kind of wank more or less normal when he's not out there?

Downing fucks me off immensely with his stupid shots, a blind man could see they were going to be blocked

Kuyt should be in there instead of Lucas

Swansea kept the ball well and frustrated us, we gave the ball away and frustrated us.
Poor finishing if Carroll had have stuck that one away early doors we could have won by three or four.
We should have had a pen for a blatant push on Suarez at the end
Why did we wait until the last 7 minutes before we looked interested
Kenny took off one player who is no good wide on the right and put another one on who is no good wide on the right. Bellers should have come on then for Henderson
When this happened we lost our shape completely
Kelly should play instead of Johnson
Carra has a problem
Adam needs another more creative player alongside him
I know Carroll will come good, but he looked a right lump today - he needs to start looking a bit aggressive and chucking himself around
Downing needs to up his game, he does not deliver consistently enough

I'm starting to get really fed up with Johnson. His positioning is awful and Swansea had so much space on our right side it was ridiculous. And when he isnt any good attacking wise either, then Kelly should start instead.

Cant really see how Johnson has played himself into the team and Kelly out of it.

Most of swansea's attack came down our left, (with Enrique having his work cut out for him) rather than our right.

Nope. There was so much space on the right it was unreal. Both Routledge and Dyer made the most of it.

The were gaps down our right at the end when we were searching for a winner but during the game the majority of swansea's attacks came down our left. The stream I was watching even showed the areas where attacks happened (Swansea and Liverpool attacked mostly down the right).

Haven't you heard from KHL, he's the bestest and will start the next billion games in a row.

Meh.
Not really 'Swansea' thoughts but more kind of standard thoughts.
We arent very good.
We dont have enough good players.
The manager isnt doing enough.
We've wasted money.
Maxi should be playing.
We've suffered years and years of this shit now. I cant remember the last time we went and won like 5 or 6 league games on the bounce to really get us in the mix.
Weve just played Norwich, West Brom and Swansea and only won once.
The glory days are loooong gone.

Dirk Kuyts goal should have counted by the way. He was in an offside position but it was knocked on by their player not Carroll.
Poor refereeing.

Im a bit disapointed that we didnt "do" something to change the game. Swanseas midfield trio were all over our 2 central midfielders, so I think switching to a 4-3-3 would have given us that extra push to get back into the game.

Again I think the subs were strange. Taking off Carroll and bringing on Bellamy. Would have been better taking off Downing and let Bellamy be out left.

I also hate seeing Kuyt and Henderson out wide left, they dont like playing there, offer little and its just disruptive to our general gameplan.

We were again sat to deep for my liking.

You're reaching Brendan status with your hard-on for Johnson.

I can't actually get over the tripe people come out with - most of the time I doubt they watched the game.

Most of Swansea's attacks came down our left; I thought our attacks were pretty even but a stat said most of them came down our left. Downing looked a lot more threatening than either Henderson or Kuyt while Johnson looked more threatening than Enrique. Jose's effort at a shot in the last few minutes nearly cost me a 3k laptop.

We don't move the ball fast enough - we take the option to pass it back rather than press forward with pace. Suarez is actually very much a guilty party in this; instead of knocking it off to a wide player racing through he would hold it up for Lucas or Adam - pissing me off.

Kenny has as many player hangups as our prior managers; I don't grasp why Bellamy isn't getting a better crack. I can't figure why Henderson is starting ahead of Bellamy or Kuyt. I'm no huge fan of Maxi but the fact he hasn't got a look is a strange one. Don't even get me started on why Ming is doing the business at Stamford rather than Anfield.

I'm reaching the stage of giving up on this season and, as such, will be prepared to see us take the time to get Suarez and Andy working together. That said, if we don't get some other attacking weapons of top class in quickly we can forget about keeping a shirt for Suarez. He is getting as frustrated as us and understandably so.

At least now we know what happens when Enrique lines up against someone of real pace. He didn't get roasted but he was finding the going very tough and he was lucky to get away with it on a couple of occasions.

Forget Lucas - no-one gives away more meaningless, yellow card producing fouls than Adam.

Agger and Skrtel did pretty well again and kept a clean sheet with some tremendous help from Reina. That's about the only positive I could find in one of the most frustrating games I've seen in a while.

It was Sian Massey who flagged the offside

Agree with most of this although I think Lucas DIDNT play against Norwich, a newly promoted club, and the result was the same.

You the man

Was at the game on Saturday. Like every other Red, not best pleased with what i was seeing.

Said before the game Henderson and Downing is a boring pair to have on the flanks. One's a nervous kid playing out of position, the other's Mr Anonymous who's offered next to fuck all in the last half dozen games. Still, Kenny persists with them. Fair enough Henderson was hauled off at half-time but why fucking start him in the first place???

We're at home to Swansea City and the name of them game is to move them around with quick, sharp passing and open up their defence. Bar Adam and Downing linking up early on which resulted in a chance for Carroll who couldn't convert, there was no nothing - no spark, no creativity, nobody taking the game by the scruff of the neck, no leadership, no fight, no intelligence. Utter shite.

Why the good fuck is Kenny not playing Maxi and Bellamy ahead of Henderson and Downing? I don't see one logical reason for it. Certainly not at home to Swansea.

Also, i'm sick to death of these lines coming out of LFC after we embarrass ourselves against these sides "oh well credit to Sunderland", "oh well credit to Norwich", "oh well credit to Swansea" we shouldn't be giving these teams a fucking a sniff at Anfield so we won't need to give them any credit. We should be all over them from the first second and smash them all over the park.

Just not good enough. We have no chance of 4th at this rate.
