New manager and a lot of money spent on players (that some reckon we should've picked up like Cattermole and Bent), yet they find themselves caught up in the relegation battle.

Should they be under more pressure?

Also, Kenwyne Jones is shit.

Cattermole, Cana and Bent would be excellent additions to our squad, as Cana and Cattermole are miles better than Lucarse and Bent pisses all over Eggnog

They deserve a better team and will be at one withing a year or two

They started well enough this season, beating us and Arsenal and almost beating United, but their results have gone down the plughole in the last few months. I haven't seen much of them, so I can't say why. Bruce was suggesting that they bought *too many* new players - would that make any sense?

I'd love Bruce to get sacked and/or Sunderland to go down, but I can't see it happening. There are too many other, shitter teams below them.

Id expect that with Bent costing £15 million and Ngog costing £1 million.

Bent has been superb for Sunderland this season.

He's just found himself another Charlton, where he's dragging along with each goal he scores.

(15 in 22, FTR)

Bent is unfairly castigated by cretins who moan about his all-round game, or how he doesn't make his own goals, but any fool can see he is a good striker who will always score goals.

Let's face it, Aldo was hardly Marco Fucking Van Basten, but he always scored.

Very similar player to Bent in many ways

Cana is not better then Lucas, he's not even close.
He has a physical presence that Lucas may lack, but that is about it.

Id love Darren Bent he is boss. Spurs wasted him when he was there. If we could get him in the summer id be fucking delighted.

He wouldn't come cheap, transfer or contract, but yes he could be good for us.
He has been quite reluctant to play second fiddle, he'd be an even smaller cog here.
I think he may be a big fish, in a small pond type of player.

If Rafa was prepared to change the formation and play a front two, Bent would be one of the better options for that position for sure.

He'd have played more games than Fernando Torres in the last 2 seasons.

That's hardly being a 'small fish'. It's having a brilliant opportunity at one of the biggest clubs in world football.

Thats the frustrating thing about our formation. We need a good second striker but who good is going to want to come and get played sparingly.
If we sold Babel there would certainly be funds, on top of our budget this summer that is. The yanks have said there will be good money available come summer (I know how that sounds).
I think he would definately come to us.

Considering Torres' injury record, buying a quality striker is essential but if Rafa sticks with the formation and everyone is fit Bent won't play.

The 4-2-3-1 formation isn't worth it if we can't keep players like Bellamy, Crouch, etc happy and have to be reliant on some French kid instead.

I'd much rather revert to 4-4-2 if it ensured we picked up a striker and a decent RW or RB if Johnson is to be moved up the pitch.

Unfrtunately Rafa is too stubborn.

Fortunately he might not be here by the end of the summer.

Cana was linked to Arsenal at one stage before he went to Sunderland. Odd move for him.

I hope Sunderland are embroiled in a relegation battle come last game of the season. I don't want them rolling over to give united 3 points that could potentially give them a title.

Dirty Mackams,

I hope they go down the shit football playing festering wank blisters.

Bent would then be a steal as a back up.

we're relying on some french kid because we sold Keane and the owners didnt give Benitez the money to sign another striker

Headwand, have you ever considered that perhaps they thought that, considering he has wasted 40m on Keane and Aquilani, that he would just waste the next 20m?
