[James Pearce] Transfer business done early, LFC returned to pre-season with a solid base to work from. Landscape has shifted considerably as a result of Saudi interest. Now uncertainty reigns. It’s been an eventful week and still no clarity about what happens now
James has a great capacity to present the obvious as news

Jheeze, thanks for stating the obvious YET AGAIN LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO......JAMES.

YOU CUNT.

Lol just thought I'd share the news with everyone else

That's cool Modo, I still love ya man......but heads up, when that loony tune tweets tomorrow that we'll be flying out to Germany later today and will be facing Karlsruher on Wednesday, please don't share it.

That guy really does take the Pool fans for fucking idiots, I don't think there's a guy I dislike more involved in the game who isn't a footballer/manager.

If that was meant to be that.. as part of the great rebuild.

We are utterly naive as a club.

We need at least 4 new faces. Not 2. With each additional outgoing now it'd be an additional so 5 etc.

What a mess.

Its been made very clear that we are after one more midfielder and a CB prior to the Saudi interest.

When did you become FSG -VE

It's obvious his cover has been blown by me, all the facts are coming out now. But I actually believe every word of what @StevieM - has just stated on that listing - and I am being serious. Don't expect any more signings - just outgoings to make up for the money we have spent thus far. That will be it, and wait for the Levi to join us next summer, and then for Levi to be signed up by Real Madrid.

If we actually thought Fabinho and Henderson were a solid base to work from, we've learned naught from last season then. They are almost finished at the top level-- please let them earn one last payday in Saudi Arabia. And let's bin this crescendo of moralising about Middle East money. There are billions of sterling in trade between the UK (and Europe since it was from this continent much of the hand-wringing came during the Qatar World Cup) and that region; why shouldn't footballers join in the fun?

The squad is extremely thin in numbers and a couple of injuries here and there and our season is doomed again.
We have lost five senior players and added only 2 we were short last season this season is worse unless we have better luck on the injuries front then top four will be a grand task to achieve.

We only have 5 forwards ,so basically if two get injured we don't have any on the bench on match days to come and get you a result.

I mean you say that but the reality is we already have a 23 man squad as it stands....and that's excluding Harvey Baj & Bradley.

City - Haaland Alvarez Mahrez Silva Grealish

Liverpool - Jota Nunez Gakpo Salah Diaz

Chelsea - PEA, Madueke, Mudryk, Lukaku?, Sterling, Ziyech?

Utd - Rashford Sancho Anthony Martial Garnacho

Arsenal - Saka Martinelli Trossard Jesus Havertz Nketiah?

Spurs - Kane Son Kuluevski Richarlison Solomon

5-6 forwards is pretty much what every other side has Aqua.

Who is this Igor chap? Left footed centre back that now seems to be Brighton’s main target after it’s become apparent that Colwill is out of reach.

Surely worth an interest given they’re after the same profile player as us and have an excellent recent scouting record?

Can’t remember if he played in the ECL final? But if there’s a CB we should be targeting at Fior it’s Milenkovic, he was brilliant. That was also a game Amrabat kept Rice very quiet…jus’ sayin’ like.

Please tell me how long is left in this transfer window?

And pray when did we last have 5 forwards of this quality? It’s usually 3-4 with U21s or Origis and Minimimos filling the bench.

HAS A MASSIVE COCK
I've only ever seen him on TV participaing in football matches ..but I'm prepared to take your word for it.
And while he did not score too many goals he did get a couple in the 5-2 victory over Everton on 4 December 2019

Oh you don't need to take my word for it.

Just need to look at the clear non-photoshopped banner that we took one European night.

He scored a lot of important, memorable goals.

Not least "Oh and he's spotted........ohhhhhhhhhhh he's caught them napping!!!!!"

That along with the killer in the CL final, and the goal where he left Prickford with egg on his face will live long in the memories.
