Have we seen a more dominant 11 game stretch in terms of goalscoring by a Liverpool player as we're seeing?

I'm only asking as I really don't remember ... Today he should have had 3-4, but I guess 2 and a helper will do ...

And lol at Ross saying his value wouldn't increase if we kept him.

He's worth 80m right now and after the World Cup will be worth 100m

Make him captain please!

Him missing those first 5 games has proved a blessing for us, don't know why but it has, the bloke is on fire, hes a master of his trade and absolute joy to watch.

You do wander could his goals win us the title.. ??

RVP did for Man Utd..

If we Strengthen in January then who knows..

and how many assists?

Incredible player, we need to keep on buying players to complement this style

I keep reading people discussing his value now - 80m, 100m etc.

Surely he's just priceless for us now, just like Messi is to Barca.

If we can tie him down to a new contract we should just offer him the earth.

World class. Top three in the world for me.
His value is tricky though. He's worth what someone is willing to pay for him. If Madrid come knocking, then yeh 100 mill is possible, but bar Madrid and a few others maybe, we won't get that figure. Not everyone pays the crazily inflated prices they do.

Ask for as much money as possible out of Bayern or Barca plus players like Muller and Sanchez. thats providing he wants out in the summer, if he doesn't then we shouldn't accept any offers at all.

He started off quite clinical but dropped off the more he played.

When he plays game after game his finishing starts to slip a little. Not much, but enough to be noticeable.

When he's rested, through suspension or a summer of not playing for Uruguay he's much more clinical.

Sadly that means I can't see this level of scoring lasting throughout the season.

I've been wrong before though!

I'm surprised he's got more goals than Ronaldo, baring in mind that Ronaldo is playing in a league with shit defences.

Trouble is, you couldn't replace his quality with 100m.
Look at Spurs without Bale. Their complete toothlessness now means that he was worth a lot more to them than Madrid paid for him.
It would be the same for us - spending 100m on a bunch of players that May or may not turn out good.
Whoever scouted and bought us Suarez was a frikken genius.

It want commoli, that much is for sure. I wondered why we and others weren't in for him, after South Africa.

Besides scoring goals, the best thing Suarez has done for himself and the team this season is in tempering his emotions and aggression without letting it affect his game. In the past, he'd let his frustration get ahead of him and pick up unnecessary bookings, get into the ref's bad books, waste chances, try to overdo things, etc. Sure, he still has a moan or two each game at the ref, but he's not gone ballistic like he used to. Even when we're not winning, he doesn't act like a petulant child anymore, which is great to see.

[article=http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11670/9076101/arsenal-manager-arsene-wenger-remains-a-fan-of-liverpools-luis-suarez]Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reaffirmed his admiration for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Wenger tried, and failed, to buy Suarez in the summer after the Uruguayan demanded a move from Anfield.

Suarez, though, has since settled his differences with the Reds and is now one of the most feared player's on the planet with 14 goals in his last eight Premier League games.

He played a starring role in Liverpool's demolition of Tottenham at the weekend and, speaking after the game on French television - working as a pundit - Wenger admitted he was still a huge admirer of Suarez.

"I think that every defender in England hates playing against him," he said on Telefoot.

"He has a strong, provocative personality. From the information I gathered on him it appears that on a day-to-day level he is really easy to work with.

"Also that he's respectful, he loves training, he's an angel. He turns into a demon when he's on the pitch.

"We all dream about having players like that."[/article]
