We used to be a far less impatient, much more tolerant site, and differed from the others because we were not so knee jerk and were prepared to give players a chance,and cut them a bit of slack but here we are half a dozen games into the new season and everyone seems fair game, it's not the SCM that I first joined, in fact I thought that was one of the reasons the site was born, that and a con-man.

They should just make a rule whereby if a player wishes to leave a club during his contract he is only allowed to be paid HALF his current wage by any club signing him and no signing on bonus can be paid.
Eg:
Tevez earns 150k per week @ Manchester City and has 3 years left on his contract, if he breaks contract the maximum wage he can earn at ANY new club is 75k per week for the next three years, with no loyalty bonuses eligible.

Yup, we must not show adulation to nor idolize any players until they are retired with the club. Our support is for the Club, but that depends on the owners! We fans are just er fan, customers, valued clients.
So as long as any players can win us the title, we will tolerate them! Even Tevez if he comes. However as I say, there is no chance in hell that will ever happen!

When he decides to move on, he's totally straight with Ajax about it and they have a massive send-off for him. Come to think of it, Deadly left Feyenoord in a similar way. No doubt many footballers are mercenaries pure and simple, and will say whatever they think will make life better for them at any given moment, but I'm not going to tar all of them with that brush regardless.
