Yeh Yeh Yeh..... 🙄

Luis Suarez insists he’s ‘happy and comfortable’ at Liverpool FC as he targets success with the club this season.
The Reds striker, who shrugged off renewed speculation linking him with Real Madrid, has thanked his team-mates and the club’s fans for their backing following a summer when he failed in a bid to seek a transfer.
“I know nothing of any interest from Real Madrid, and I am happy with Liverpool,” he told Uruguay radio station Sport 890.
“When I was separated (from the squad), the players told me they didn’t like that and wanted me to be with the group. Today I feel very supported by my team-mates, and I appreciate their support.
“The support of the fans was also very important. I always could walk on the street with no trouble. I was never threatened or anything like that – the people told me to stay.
“I feel part of things at Liverpool. It is my home. I am comfortable here. I work hard for Liverpool and I will always be thankful to the club, and to my team-mates.
“In the team we are all really excited, and looking forward to a good season. We believe in the team and we believe we can have an exciting season.
“The Premier League is the best league there is. The stadiums, the atmosphere and the fans make football here so entertaining.”

To be fair, his new daughter might have made him want a more familiar/settled lifestyle rather than moving to/starting at a new place.

If Arsenal continue to push on and stay above us, it has to be a bit of a concern I reckon. That said, they've made their marquee signing now, hopefully that's them done.

I can't see there being any more Madrid interest. So he better be happy

Why not? By the looks of things, they're still a striker short, and in all likelihood have leftover cash from selling Ozil.

They will ship Benzema out in January or in the Summer. They're not going to get Zlatan, so Suarez will be the best available striker for them. I would rather he stays, because he's that good. But if they come in with a big bid, we'll either sell or the 'I'm happy here' routing will stop and the drama will begin.

We haven't heard the last from those bastards. Let's see if Suarez changes his stance come January or end of season. Us making the CL will have an impact on any decision.

They started their pursuit of Aguero recently if I remember correctly

He won't go anywhere in the winter. I think he'll wait it out to see do we make the CL. If we don't get a top 4, he deserves to go to a club that are in the CL next year, no matter what any cunt thinks of him.

Of course I hope this never happens.

I think I'd rather listen to my vacuum cleaner than endure more chatter from Suarez. I wouldn't trust him to eat the food he ordered for lunch - he'd probably have changed his mind before it reached the table. He'll probably leave in the summer rather than January, I hope he'll stay, but I don't believe anything he says these days.

To me this strongly suggests that Luis tends to follow the last loud voice he heard, that he was probably geed up by his agent into that nonsense about joining the Arse, and that the agent rather than the player will decide whether or not he tries to move again next year. This is yet another reason why the club management played a blinder last summer in insisting that he stay - the agent will now know that it will take a serious (i.e.very big) offer to prise him loose from LFC.

I can't see him running his contract down.
He's 26+ and has 3 years to go. If he wants to leave he will want it this summer, and then we'll ask for big money.
If that doesn't work then fine - I'd love to see him giving us 3 more years.

And BTW, all the signs are there that last season wasn't a one off. If so - his price will rise, and the 40M offered by Arsenal will look like a joke, come next summer.

Nice to see that Suarez wanted to play the afulham game before traveling with Uruguay. The Uruguayan FA have granted him permission to do so aswell.

"comfortable" Pepe's words again!

Ok, so he's gone next summer. The club would be crazy not to cash in as his value is declining..

Agree with macca here.
Wouldn't believe the radio in his gaff.
Head down and mouth shut is what I like to see.

He won't leave in jan. This season we have to get top 4. It's crucial for next ten years maybe.

I'd be happy if I could pull on the famous red top, run out in front of thousands of adoring fans, get paid squinty billion Uruguayan thingies each week and know that in the back of my mind someone else will come and get me soon and probably pay me even more.

It would be feckin' difficult not to be happy.

Shut up and play footy Luis.
