It means he wants to remain manager even though these cunts are in charge.
yeah that's it exactly . I mean none of this is his fault , he can never do any wrong or admit he made a mistake . He's been shafted by some big bad american cunts . Get out those "yanks out" banners you saved from the last lot , Kenny needs your help .

You think Suarez, Dalglish and Ayres all decided to issue apologies of their own back? At the same time? I won't be in the slightest bit surprise when, come the end of the season Suarez is gone followed closely by others.

Sky Sports' Martin Tyler has just said, during his commentary on the Villa/City match, "It seems as though Alex Ferguson's post-match comments yesterday have been vindicated by the apologies coming out of Anfield today."

Sheesh! 😱
No they haven't.

Unfortunately for suarez, a player of his "passion" would never last in the goldfish bowl of the epl.

I expect him gone by summers end.

Which is a travesty for the sport itself.

I have a feeling the owners aren't too happy with how this whole episode has been handled. I imagine heads will roll in the summer, and Kenny could be one of them.

Fuck the owners.

I've been told a few times now that FSG demanded we not appeal or peruse the matter any further. It makes sense they're trying to do the same now.

I don't agree with it at all TBH, but they're the owners so it's their call.

I don't like the fact kenny apologised, but it wasn't really his fault, he should never have been put in that position Ayre has to answer for that. Media management should be inclusive of post match interviews & making sure the manager &/or players are debriefed & given advice on how to deal with certain questions.

well maybe ayre and dalglish decided something needed to be said themselves, i mean it's their job to manage and i'm pretty sure dealing with a situation like this would fall under their responsibility . but yeah i'd expect they've been speaking to the owners also . But that is not the point i am making , the point i am making is that why is so unbelievable that dalglish has made these comments freely , that these are his words and he believes them . That maybe he feels he made some mistakes yesterday and should apologise . Why is that so hard to accept that a man like kenny would do that ?

Quite. Bill Shankly shouldn't have managed Liverpool if this is the test of what's inappropriate. I'd put telling another club what to do way above any other comments and that's just been accepted by our joke of a brand.

I see Evra hasn't apologised for being an obnoxious little twat who was trying his best to rile Suarez, or united for failing to control their players in the tunnel, becaus eit won't be our players that tried it on

I assume the new thing that comes across poorly in that interview (bar the fact he could have given it a positive spin & made some valid points about the suspension etc) is his saying Suarez had nothing to be blamed for, I know he didn't mean it in relation to the handshake but in the field of play, but when played as a sound bite time & again as it has been, it sounds like he's advocating Suarez not shaking his hand.

"When I went on TV after yesterday's game I hadn't seen what had happened, but I did not conduct myself in a way befitting of a Liverpool manager during that interview and I'd like to apologise for that."

Jesus Christ, whoever made Kenny make that statement needs his fucking arse kicking. After all that he's done for the club that's a fucking disgrace.
Why?

He was in the wrong.

Yeah, easy to say, but they own the club and will do what they think is best for their long term interests. The club has made a mess of this whole thing from start to finish.

@AnfieldCat "I'm Sorry"

I have spoken at length to Kenny since the game at Anfield and I realise I got things wrong.

I've not only let him down, but also the Club and what it stands for and I'm sorry. I made a mistake and I regret what happened.

I should never have ran onto the pitch with such scant disregard for the game and I want to apologise for my actions.

I would like to put this whole episode behind me and concentrate drinking milk, chasing my tail and tweeting

I'm not sure I would have wanted the club to handle it differently. I wouldn't have been happy with anything that fell short of absolute support of the player.

I agree. If all we'd been worried about was how things looked, the "mess" allegation might perhaps have some substance, but there are times when you simply have to stand up for principles.

Yep. And looking at it, we were damned if we did and damned if we didn't. If we hadn't stood by him and we had months of Tevez like media speculation regarding him being unhappy at not being supported by the club, blah blah, the fans would still pick fault with the club. It was a shit situation to be in from the off and while Suarez is clearly no angel, United were also clearly on an agenda.

ANGER MANAGEMENT is what suarez needs. Ever since ferrgurson choose to unbalance him by calling him a diver who dives all over the place it was clear he would be under scrutiny for every move he makes he unfortunately fell in the trap rather to easily .He needs to be told to get on with the game not to argue despite being intimidated which will continue to be the case from now on .All managers will instruct their defenders to wind him up he will get more bans expect him to get red cards .

Cue pics of Olie Holt and Co holding up posters saying 'We Win!' Go Reds Brand! An absolutely pathetic collapse. You've maybe - just maybe - saved your reputation with fans of other clubs, but you've diminished it with your own fans. What a great achievement.

I hope to God Suarez doesnt leave after this season. Hope he can concentrate on his football in the future. Hopefully this will be the end of it.

He's a fantastic player and we need him.

On a sidenote, 2 of my teammates are from Paraguay, and they are absolutly gobsmacked by all this. Negro is the most natural thing to say where they are from.
