the other points from today's game which stuck out for me were -
- this whole playing from the back with reina , fuck me how many times did it nearly get us in trouble . it was ridiculous at times . I've no idea if rodgers is pushing this on him and the team but if they're not comfortable with it or unable to do then just don't try it .But I guess we can't even hit long as Suarez isn't going to win much in the air.
-I'm all for nice one touch football but how often did it break down in the final third when we tried one-twos or passes that were never on . Sometimes just put your foot on the ball and look up . Some of decision making was just terrible .
-It's strange to watch gerrard and see so much of what he's trying not come off and look terrible . He doesn't look physically past it so not sure what is wrong exactly .He's just so off form .

At what point did post that we lost because of Gerrard? I was simply replying to another post re Gerrard's performance.
And i didn't call him a cunt outright, i called him a selfish cunt which he evidently he is as a footballer.
He has no patience and no discipline when things aren't going his way. It's becoming more and more clear as he gets older. He gave the ball away loads of times today as he has done in most games this season.

Can't believe I forgot to mention that. Sterling was 100% correct not to take his hand. Whitehead did him, because he couldn't get near him.

Go to any pub around Liverpool today(which had the game on) and when Joe Cole blazed miles over at the end you'd have heard shouts like 'you stupid cunt', 'thick cunt' etc so don't taking everything so literally and seriously.

Our greatest player was called worse most of last season and into this. That's modernity for you.
Eh? I don't give a shit about Joe Cole. I'm on about Steven Gerrard and calling him a cunt after what he's done for this club, singlehandedly at times, is out of order. He had a bad game. He can be selfish. He can make mistakes. But he's done a million times more good than bad over his career for us and for you to call him a "selfish, egotistical cunt" is a load of shite. Were you calling Kenny a cunt last year when he was making mistakes too?

I agree Gerrard was off form and wasn't great today. I also agree that he isn't immune at all from criticism. My only problem was your use of cunt and the manner in which I read your post. I often use the word cunt, just don't think it was warranted to Gerrard in this occasion. He tried to force the game, at times it didn't work. At times it did with the pass to Glen.
As I said in a previous point, lets move on as I've no desire to 'argue' with your point when I see the merit in what you are saying. My only problem was it's delivery.
Beat me to it. I've just said it there. You can highlight deficiencies in their game/managing ability, but show some fucking respect for what they've done.
I wouldn't call it modernity. I'd just say it's people being twats.
Sunderland and Stoke should be made form one team. Combine all their horrible players into one side and keep it that. They even wear similar shirts. Easy.
Gerrard was poor, but he almost had about 5 give and gos with Suarez. I thought the ideas were good, but the execution was awful. Ball kept getting stuck in his feet and his service was consistently overhit, but the ideas were fine.
Except at some point in the game, you have to tell yourself that it is not your day and that you need to simplify things and let others take some of the initiative.
At times it feels like only Suarez has the ability and ambition to take the initiative. Wish we had another Suarez in our team. I'm not even being greedy. Just one more.
Suso coming off was a bit annoying though. Perhaps Rogers was protecting him and trying to use his sparingly as he is new to the team but he has the beating of his man and seems to have the ability to make something happen.
