Appaz Studge injured again, Hendo and Milner still out so .....

We'll get fucking hammered

We very much need to buy two new midfielders. Henderson has one of those injuries that may never actually heal properly, so will always be a risk.

Christ, how did it come to this? Joe Allen and Lucas.

... and Brannagan and Rossiter

Well, that fucking Mancski twat Hughes has been talking up how it's a great time to be playing us. So there's as much incentive as ANY Liverpool side should ever need.

Id love to say he has his head in a cloud but he's right.

Meh.. The other thread is far more interesting..

I'm just not looking forward to this game.. Though we do owe them one for that 6-1 drubbing last season..

We beat 1-0 in August. At Britannia.
But yeah, wont mind another win..

I think we will raise our game and win this one. I think the players know they have really fucked off Klopp in that last game.

Did they not think that after Palace, Newcastle and Watford etc though? Don't mean to be disingenuous, just saying.

I have worked out that they are a bit slow in the head -"our boys". I think the team we have is quite talented, but I also think it is the "dumbest" set of Liverpool players in the club's history. I think their brain power combined does not equal the brain of Xabi Alonso. They are quite painful but funny to watch when they are in the final third. The funniest ones to watch are Clyne and Benteke:-

1) Clyne - runs all the way up and then you watch him struggle to think what the fuck to do with the ball - its like time stands still for him while he is trying to work it out :-

a) should I cross it ?
b) Go inside ?
c) maybe a through ball to someone

2) Benteke - standing still, going in a different direction to the play in general or looking like he is just saying "dah wat do I do ? I need ball"

I'd rest Coutinho and bring him on to smash in a late winner. See what someone else can do with all the ball

The squad pretty much picks itself with all the injuries we have. What's more important is attitude, confidence and desire.
Klopp has done the whole arm around the shoulder routine, so maybe it's time for the velvet glove to come off.

Who have we left at this stage? I'd be up for giving a couple of players some bench time, but it's FA Cup next weekend so we should put out as strong a team as we have for this one (which admittedly is not great and somewhere close to what we went with Saturday).

-------------------Ming-------------------
-----Clyne------Lovren------Sakho---------Moreno (would be tempted to give Smith a go)

-------------Lucas-----------Can------------

----Ibe---------------Coutinho--------------Lallana

-----------------Firmino-------------------------

Much as Firmino has been pissing me off lately, Benteke had me raging at the weekend. We could do with Ibe's pace as I can see us playing on the counter attack for a good portion of this game.

If play Allen ahead of Lucas for this one..

Lucas needs dropping (from a great height)
