Actually sorry Dreamy, that was a shit reply.
Our (and Gerrard's problem) is that everything has to go through him, cos we don't have good enough other players to change the focus of attack. Either Gerrard creates soemthing out of his arse (or Torres does likewise), or we're relying on a set-piece/bit of luck/freak goal.
We need another two Torres and Gerrard's in the team.

Ya but he has played in shit Liverpool teams before and managed his magic. It just doesn't look like its gonna happen this year for him.
Where are the 25 screamers, where are the driving runs, where are the amazing passes.
He looks so flat. It's more depressing that the overall team.
He's our captain, our leader.

He's been injured Pat.
And you could ask where are the fucking 25 yard scoreamers, and last-minute winners from the rest of the team. You're effectively asking for him to pull us out of the mire everytime we're fucked, which is a ntohing strategy really.
We need more (and significantly better) options.

I agree that we need more that wasn't the question. My point is he's done it before and after injuries too. I'm not asking him to win every game on his own, but he is usually good for a few match winning performances a year.
But this season he has added nothing really for a player of his ability.
From player of the year to this is very worrying.

He's been injured Pat.
What part of this are you not getting?

He has been injured before and still put in big performances and great goals.
And he hasn't be injured all year, yet its December and he hasn't had a big game of note. Fair enough maybe I'm reading to much into it.
