Arsenal could effectively put an end to Spurs domestic season by the end of the first week of January.
Seems like all Spurs fans are getting for Christmas, is a big dose of reality.
I want to see them start playing well so they batter Utd.
"It's been different. It's madness, really. I'm not used to sleeping two hours at night. I'm waking up thinking about footballers. I said the other day, I slept like a baby – I woke up crying four times in the middle of the night.
Yep, it has been the same for a while, the other Londoners will attest to that. Three years ago I had many of the idiots around here (where I live, not scm) telling me they were the fastest team in the world, play the best football in the league, etc, etc, that money just made them even worse. The humbling this season is very welcome, and those fools who are always there to tell you about it when they're doing well, are awfully quiet this season. The shite coming from them at the start of the season was absurd at the time, like they were suddenly some sort of super power because they spent a few quid, love the way football can boot people in the bollocks and love the way its booted them.
*Levy doesn't have the patience to persevere with the right manager.I thought AVB would do well at Spurs actually, and would have said that they would do well if they found the right person to replace him. However, it seems that Levy just cant hire the right manager for them.
I'm not particularly arsed, never seen them as a rival. We beat them at their ground and that was great. Done with them now.
The papers are sating Villas Boas didn't wan't Lamela, Chiriches, Eriksen and Chadli.
Lamela for 30 mill is a mess for them, yeah hes a talented young player but a club like them can't spend 30mill on a player and not play him, madness.
Not a rival in historical sense, so I rarely celebrate if they lose. Not a rival? That's quite arrogant.

Everton, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, different story.
Well Chelsea aren't a rival in a historical sense either!
Spurs are very much rivals, in that their realistic aim each season is to at least qualify for the Champions League, the same as ours.
Fair enough.
To be honest I probably take slightly more pleasure from a Spurs demise purely because I have always found their fans so insufferable. I don't know that many Chelsea fans.
Understandable. I hate this new wave of Chelsea fans who don't even know who Dennis Wise is.Fair enough.

Perhaps, but AVB was never going to be that manager IMO. I was gobsmacked when Levy gave him the gig in the first place after the complete and utter lash-up he made of the Chelsea job. He could yet become as good as he thinks he is, but he's still a long way from it.
