Johnson's going to get plenty of assists this season. He's a lovely crosser.

It's probably because of Ayala's giraffe like neck. He can match up well with Crouch
 
Maybe it's just this game, but I think it's what we all feared - we're lacking a cutting edge...for now..
 
We're playing poorly, no sign of scoring, time to bring on the reserves to make a difference...

I'm missing the confidence, the swagger, the ability of the team to score a hat-ful of goals, that we had last season.
 
Mascherano hasn't done much wrong defensively, and Lucas has put in a decent display.

It's still nowhere near as influential though, is it?

it is the first match of the season ... neither Chelsea nor United showed that either.
